So at the end of the day you got the exact same choice here as you got over there, but the problem arises when we look at the amount of gear available in the game to level and compare it to Warframe. If we had this economy today in TFD, we'd all have nuts builds by the end of the week and we'd all hit MR30. I imagine we're gonna wait for 3-4 years worth of content expansions before there's any tweaks to those drop rates/prices because of it.

see and that's where i think they made bad decision ... the price , having it be "double" the price maybe acceptable? having it be triple we could have a valid debate about it but this is more than x10 more expensive than is "competitors" that it devised 90% of its core elements from and that's crazy.

Every gun in Warframe is unique. You only have 1 version of that gun. Unlike Borderlands series and this game where you find the same gun but with higher stats at higher levels.

Honestly, everyone keeps comparing this to destiny and honestly...I don't see it, like at all, would love to see what your reasons for that are

to me I see it as a love-child between warframe (the grind, the crafting, the weapon/character xp progression etc) and outriders (the way overworld works, the mission structure, weapon modifier crafting etc)

No, I don't. There are more than 400k games on Steam, you don't have to change the game to fit your narrative, YOU need to adapt to what the game is. If you don't like the game, instead of trying to change what you don't like, and possibly ruin the game for others, simply don't play the game.

Wrong buddy. Borderland series has 771 different high rarity weapons each with their own unique ability that directly impact gameplay. The elemental damage, shield generator, class mod, etc... all came from Borderland. Character with unique ability and power up with mod enhancement? Borderland. Your riven mod is literally just trashframe's way to replicate and monetize Borderland's 17 million procedural generated gun stats.

Without Borderland to copy from your Trashframe would only be featuring those bland soulless guns from Call of Duty that only shift their stats around. Learn to be humble and grateful, peasant.

Yeah fairly sure he just goofed up the names. Those cost $6 and $25 respectively.

Activators are "NOT" worth $25, and not that hard to farm. Besides you don't need very many of them, one for Decendants you like to regularly play as, and 1 for any guns you primary. I needed like 7, and I no longer have any use for them till new stuff is added. The catalysts however you need hundreds of, and they SUCK to farm for that last 15% drop rate item you need. I may actually end up buying some just to skip that grind. I can worrk for an hour and buy 6-7 of them, or grind for an hour and if I'm incredibly lucky, start crafting one.
