Target Farming the Strategic Outpost feels bad.

Having to wait 5 mins to do a mission that takes 20 seconds to complete is not a good balance. I am trying to farm Amorphous Materials from them and i wouldn't mind it as much if I was able to do them faster. The 5 mins of doing nothing and not playing the game just sucks. Even teleporting to Albion and refreshing the area is inconsistent at best.

yeah the timer need a rework, if the amorph would be a 100% drop i would understand that

yea... i those farms are the worst... i get bored and start doing other missions, just to get back and seeing someone else finish it right as i get there... i might have to start doing private instances just to be able to take my time doing another mission while waiting for it to refresh

The timers get way better in private mode, the highest timer I got so far was 30 seconds.

this is why you only do them with sharen for a chance at double rewards

try zone jumping. lot faster than waiting for the timer, and if you are private, no worry about someone else messing up your farm.

im doing mountain and white gulch rotation right now and keep swapping between the two. yes im in private mode.

i still get the random :30-3:00 wait on some (thats what im doing right now) I think maybe nexon wanted to simulate bunnys wasting their time on hard outposts and messing up sharens rotation? idk.

i dont mind waiting for outposts... void shard farming is the thing i hate most but the two together is a true ♥♥♥♥ sandwich

EDIT: wish there was a way to educate the people wasting everyones time by not using sharen on the outposts.

I guess when you leave a map, which already had a timer running, then you get a penalty for going into a private map after that.

It's 5 minutes no matter what.

I can put up with beating the odds on seemingly deceptive low-percentage rates or mindlessly grinding prerequisite currency/resource farms - but arbitrary garbage like timers for mission types that don't even have a guaranteed drop is Grade A cancer of the highest degree.

If you're going to make a grind game, the utmost bare minimum you can do for your playerbase is to let them actually chase the damn thing they're after without minimal disruptions in the actual tedious grinding process proper. And ever since the latest patch, I've been getting frequent memory leaks on a damn 4070 Ti Super if I try to alternate to a different zone's outpost one too many times.

Either axe the timer, reduce it to half a minute at MOST for things to respawn, or make the AMPs a guaranteed drop.

This was my suggestion as well. Was trying to get amp 014 so I could get the Divine Punishment blueprint. Altogether w/ the void fusion reactor, it took me 3hrs and 41 mins (yes I timed it) to get the blueprint. And as everyone here has stated, most of the time was spent standing around doing nothing. Absolutely ridiculous

Hey, do an outpost and then go do something else. Like a quest or better yet, farm the Void Shards. You can usually do at least one Void mission before the Outpost cooldown is off.

You guys who stand around doing nothing are doing it wrong.

While it is still possible to change the timer by switching zones - This is precisely what you should be doing.

When they fix this obvious exploit, if they do not change the way it works so it is not ♥♥♥♥, I will probably uninstall the game.

Imagine playing a game that is so ♥♥♥♥ that you have to wait for 5 mins for a low chance to get what you need - The devs ought to be hiding their faces in shame.
