[Q] Is it wise to invest on the Tamer knowing that It might get nerfed?

It won't they already said it won't. There are some builds saying some Ultimate Weapons are much better than Tamer. I think Tamer is just the easiest to build while people farm their ultimates.

Most of the ultimates seem underwhelming besides thundercage, python and probably if the negative element resist % stacking debuff helps at all on some characters. Course the snipers do look kinda nice, or secret garden maybe. To soon to tell but "underwhelming" is the feeling I got when looking at the abilities they have

Thundercage is my 1º weapon, but I'm very interested on the Nazeistra's Devotion, seems powerful, and the unique ablity might be helpful against bosses for everyone in the lobby right?

Tamer is one of the best guns; it's not the absolute best gun in every case.

Yea i agree with some. However... like you said its to soon to really tell especially with their enhanced unique ability at max. Could be interesting to see. I think the majority are focusing on gathering reactors and their mods right now.

I thought it might be nerfed too, until I actually used it.

It feels terrible because it makes you sprint slower, and ADS makes you walk slow as hell, so you eat a ton of damage. That is the trade off for this thing.

I'm using Nazeistra Devotion seems like one of the few that is worth a ♥♥♥♥ but I'm not in hard mode yet so can't say for sure.

The way how these games usually work isn't, that they nerf old stuff, but rather, that they make the new stuff be stronger for the new content. Though that process is usually quite slow and you should be able to use the Tamer for quite some time and more importantly, use it to farm for whatever eventually dethrones it.

Right now, a lot of Ultimate affixes just aren't all that good. It's just a matter of waiting for them to add more items that can support different builds. That's likely when things will go nuts.
