Too many bad players
Bosses need to be nerfed bad, to many people playing that have no clue what they are doing that dont bring the right gear and are making colossus battles an instant fail. Being artificially roadblocked in progression because I cant get matched with a group with gear that will actually be able to kill the boss we are doing is bad design.

It is actually quite astonishing how bad some people's builds are. Like they are just hitting the auto button and never changing it.

Which is honestly one of the big reasons I think people have so many issues with hanged man. Its not that the boss is hard, its just the average player is simply terrible at the game.

And of course you are not an average player, you are the greatest. What a troll.

Bosses dont need to be nerfed just players need to be gated somehow that they cant go with character that does toxic damage to toxic boss fight idk solution is not rly easy players are problem many times i seen ppl play with cold damage vs cold boss like wtf ....or toxic damage vs toxic boss lol ...its crazy that ppl cant read these days

Well, if they make it easier to get other Descendants outside of dropping $$$, then yeah.....
There should at least be a dps warning for each boss where if your guns are below the required dps they should be discouraged to fight that boss. Absolute tanks like pyromaniac are such bullet sponges that you can have a squad waste the entire 8 mins and not be able to break his shield at all due to not enough dps. This is why some people abandon a match half way because there's no way you're all going to kill that boss within the time limit even if you had infinite ammo.

Typical, people who already past normal Colossus Gate-Block come here to mock everyone else. TFD need to either nerf normal Colossus or remove them as a Gate-Block period.

Well, you go public cause you can't solo. So you baaaaaaaaaaaad brooooooooo !!!
Some bosses don't have solo in hard mode, you clown.
i think making catalysts and activators absurdly difficult and expensive to be blocking players from meeting DPS checks. You need so many of the things and it's not easy for most to grind/pay for them.
The only one that needs a nerf is Frost Walker because his mechanic is too obtuse for pug play. It's far too specific in what you need to do, and a single person can cause a wipe. The others are fine.
To be honest i dont feel like public bosses needs a nerf, i just feel more like early bosses needs a buff so those bad players who try to brute force everything down get stuck earlier and need to adapt and get better.

Hardly. Im good enough to finish the content and not get one shot by the bosses I fight. Thats literally all I ask of anyone teamed with me... just don't be terrible.

Apparently this is a tall ask.

And then watch player numbers to drop drastically.
When game become too frustrating people will stop playing.
i agree, not to the nerfs but the bad players part. i only been doing bosses solo because i cant stand rando noobs

Hard bosses are not necessary for progression. I expect more bosses like this in next updates. Probably they will introduce Extreme difficulty too. With new boss movesets.

Thats the funny thing, the early bosses are all trying to teach the player something; but people are really dumb so most don't learn.

The two obvious ones are Devourer and Dead Bride.

Devourer has a dps check so it's supposed to teach you to fix your auto slot build into something actually useful. Most people don't and get carried eventually by a competent Gley.

Dead Bride has a near unavoidable aoe and that will likely one shot you. It's supposed to teach you that you need to slot some sort of defense, but a lot of people don't and just get carried eventually.

Hard bosses are not necessary for progression. I expect more bosses like this in next updates. Probably they will introduce Extreme difficulty too. With new boss movesets.
You do understand that extreme difficulty becomes normal once you get higher level builds, the only way extreme difficulty stays the same if TFD dev's limit your build and force you to play coordinated, that also means premade teems and more frustration for other players, unless all you would get is slightly more materials.
