Weapon Modules - Settings 1, 2, 3 - How to Use

Could someone please explain how I use the settings in the weapon modules section?

I've equipped modules in setting 1, however I don't know if I also need to equip them in the other two setting tabs?

If I do need to equip the other two settings, how are they used?

for descendants and weapons it uses the active tab. (The last tab you have open) You can rename the tabs to make it easy to remember what they are for.

They are for different builds.

For descendants you can see their stats change on the inventory screen. For weapons I think you go to their info screen to see the adjusted damage numbers.

The main page may say 1k dps, but the detailed weapons in shows 2k. This way you can see the modules impact.
