Farming Thunder Cage parts is futile.

The drop rate is supposed to be 20% according to the game.
I can definitely confirm that is an absolute lie.
Otherwise after 10 hours, I would have at least 1 of each and have advanced my gun a bit.
I have 0 parts.

If I remember correctly, Thunder Cage parts have that red circle arrow around X in the Acquisition page. That means it is non-repeatable and can only drop the first time you do the mission.

i just farmed it earlier today and got 1 part per 2-5 runs of each mission on each part, its just rng. though the Ultimate part took about 10 attempts to get 1

And yes it is odd, because on the Acquisition page, there doesn't seem to be any other way to get them.

the 20% drop rate numbers seem to be the one causing the most issues.. has to be a glitch in the maths for it somewhere.. This is what those korean devs get for trying to be too shifty.

It is possible to get from the same missions, here is the proof, maxed my weapon ability out running the same ones. It's just RNG, had to do sometimes 10+ runs for the Fiber.

rng is just that, random. Just a really bad streak of luck. Dont try the lotto any time soon

As mission Reward, they don't drop from enemies in my experience.

there are 2 missions (like for last dagger), one is one (1) time only, and the other is normal

I think the numbers in games like this, mostly lie. That said, if you would have 1 part in 10 hours of grind, but have zero, then that's just plain ol' RNG.

Do 200 hours when you would have 20 parts on average. Then you should have around 15-25 or something. But if you only had 1-5 by that time, that would be too big of a discrepancy, RNG or not.
