But I do agree, for stable performance it is better to have 32 Gb or 24, at least (in flex mode).
Once I move out of the spawn area (or away from Anais), i.e. other players, TFD is barely over 2GB.
----------
The % memory in Task Manager = % of total memory allocated to apps...
e.g. I have 22% memory usage in TM, but 90 out of 128GB free in ISLC... use P.Exp and it says 99% of memory has been allocated by Windows - M$ knows their $tuff, Windows will tend to reserve all available ram anyway, then parcel it out to make sure apps don't overwrite other apps (isn't that right, Ubisoft's The Division 1... 2... Pandora... Massive's new dev team also knows their $tuff?)
In theory, you can run TFD with just 8GB total system ram. Just don't run anything else, don't let Windows run anything else either but if your total ram is just 8GB... odds are, you have other bottlenecks too
