Invite/access needed?

On the store page it says I’ve requested access but this is an open beta and I don’t have the option to install

Edit: apparently I had the original beta still installed from last time and I had to update instead of installing it from the store page.

It changed the wording for me today after I restarted Steam and re-checked their page. If that still dosent work, try through Steamdb DOT info, you can google it, and go to their store page for the game and try from there. No invite needed.

I just tried that, it gave me a download error saying "no licenses".

Yeh. I saw "open beta" but i was like "but you still need a key? Huh..."

I think you need an invite only if you are trying it out on consoles and they will requess your email address... https://tfd.nexon.com/en/crossplay-beta

And in steam page it says? "You've requested access! Keep an eye out for an email notification from Steam when the developer is ready to accept more participants."

Did you play the previous beta? If not, just wait and check the store page occassionally or fresh the page(right-click on the store page->reload). If all else fail, restart steam client.

I did not play previous beta. I did restart steam launcher. I also checked it thru a just normal browser. All of it behaves the same way.

just request acces and then restart steam and search it in your library the beta will be in your library

For those who don't have access despite participating in the beta, it is also possible that when the beta is launched officially, you'll be able to download it again.

From what I have noticed with my friends, they still need to request to join, so I am thinking this will change to actually being "open" and you will no longer need to request anything, it will just let you try the beta.

The Nexon site says "Test Schedule :
Tue, 09/19/2023 00:00 – Mon, 09/25/2023 23:59 PDT" So I assume the pre-load will be sometime today.
