so does that mean the devs see Bunny as under the baseline descendants (Valby, Viessa, Hailey)? Didnt Bunny get buffed recently too
I think it has more to do with Bunny being the poster child of the game rather than balance.
special treatment much, not even the post child should be exempt from proper balancing

And you still didn't answer what the devs could realistically do to balance the game if nerfing is off the table. Those bullet points are not ways of making the game balanced. To balance the systems, it's a multilayered approach

Specific descendant team scaling. When in a team setting, monsters are resistant to character Ines (or whoever). Specific element or power related scaling. (Tech, or electricity, etc)

Specific monster mechanics. That would require teamwork to accomplish when in a team setting. Examples include, making monsters immune to specific descendants skill powers. Making monsters immune unless damaged by team damage, instead of a solo character in a team, using stacking debuffs or something. There are plenty of creative ways to do balancing. Without even touching the descendants.

The problem is they aren't thinking ahead and implementing these kind of systems. Even though some of them already exist.

It's literally nerf, nerf, nerf it all into the ground. Because a few people can't handle anything but. Gimme gimme gimme.

It's been that way since the start, and why I've left. I gave them a few seasons to see what they would do.

When in team setting. There should be unique monster skills, tactics, and scaling. Unique packs, and other things. Why it's literally the same thing teams vs solo is just plain. well plain.

Playing any mission in team coop should be dramatically different, then when playing in solo. Simply due to the diverse amount of descendants and skills available to them. Which is why the game should scale and adjust dynamically based on what descendants are being played, at any given time. Not just by the number of players. I would also argue it should also take into account what weapons are equipped by each player as well. and adjust.

This all shows the steps they are taking with community feedback when even addressing the request about a descendant filter. LMFAO!! The game itself should be taking that into account. Not the players.

Basically what I am saying is that any given make up of team combination. There should be a monster setup to directly counter, or at the very least challenge that combination. While promoting more team based play while in team mode, using some kind of "combo" based mechanic to promote "team damage". Something like freezing enemies, then setting them on fire. To create a team aoe explosion. This way characters more single target focused won't feel left out of the mobbing mechanics in team play.

( Balance )
"Descendants (players) have that ability to counter the monsters. Why don't the monsters have the ability to counter the (players) Descendants?"
( Balance )

sucks! as the devs read off, the upcoming outfit cosmetics will continue to be low-tier minimal effort quality garbage
no hope considering how bad the schoolgirl and office outfits are
content drought is by far the most negative aspect of this game since month 1, but they're focused on everything else but that. players are the lowest it has ever been, numbers don't lie, no sugar coating this. nearly 1 full year & they're still flopping like banked fish. incompetence crisis in full view

But this is the most beautiful English pronunciation I have ever heard. I never thought that English could be as beautiful as music.

So someone finally made respond to him in one of your threads that are always shilling your own channel, this must be a sensitive topic, considering your female persona is the core of your marketing strategy and the foundation of your entire channel. Your own reply suggests that something doesn’t add up, and it’s on you to prove that you’re not a man hiding behind a female AI voice.
Rules 28, 39, 30 and 31.

My female persona is not an intended marketing strategy. I'm just someone who does not want to show my face on the internet especially with how female gamers are treated nowadays and I don't want to belong to that stereotype. But I've saved these accusations until they redacted their comments or released a proof video.

Because I'm playing the patience card here. Someday I'll stream and I will rub it in their faces.

I doubt people are gonna return for dia, I doubt even more that new players will come for dia (negative reviews stuck as a result of Ines Raya nerfs and nerf path of devs vice content path).

Devs need to revert nerfs and stop nerfing in general... 2 weeks ago.

As things stand now, just watch the game die.

nexon nerfs waifu and people proceeds to review bomb the game driving new players away and killing it because tantrum, totally a clown fiesta.

People don't look negative review. And negative review for this game is just a joke.

When I look review charts I see:

April 3 : 475 neg review.
April 4: 430 neg review

~900 neg review

Steady player I see per day is 5000 - 6000 players at the time I play.

5000 - 6000 Players and 900 neg review. I let you think about what this number mean.

If you want number, check Steam metrics here:

https://steamcharts.com/app/2074920

And do remember this is Steam metric which do not include PlaySation or Xbox.

Stop telling the game is dying, go found another game to play, and leave people who like the game playing it.

Try using a better site, like SteamDB.

TFD has 57,718 positive reviews and 44,657 negative reviews. That's a significant amount of negative reviews and will drag players away to other games without a "mixed reviews" status. Also, keep in mind that TFD is in a unique position where they have hundreds of players with over a thousand hours in the game having left negative reviews. That's almost, if not actually, unheard of.

The drop in players following the most recent content release was quick and dramatic (35%+ drop within a week). The sales numbers under performed every previous content release as well.

instead of using "need", i think the more correct word to use is "should"

The reasoning for "need" vice "should", is based on the presumption that the developers are intending to extend the life of their game and therefore the profitability of their business. They have other options to pursue balance aside from nerfing descendants, the option they chose alienated customers and gives future customers a bad impression (that their time and money might be utterly wasted in a game where all they do is farm or buy skins to improve the character they're playing).
i would agree but i disagree again.

Why? because review bombing tells me a lot about the negatives that people are immature and them being gone=good.

You guys seem to forget a majority gamers ignore review bombs. usually its a sign to try the game.

Game also still has more players then WF and i been playing WF since release. This is a far better game its 1st year.

As for nerfs? are people really that new to gaming?????? this has been a thing for 10+ Years hell BDO Still does this. guess what people review bombed it too it recovered still has a large playerbase still makes hundreds of millions.

This game will be just fine and recover for every negative review by salty children 3 players will take its place down the road.

Another example? Once human. btw be thankful a outfit is 15.00 and not 180.00 like it is on once human via loot boxes.

This game is F2P you dont need to buy a single item i'm 1 week in and already maxed a character and a weapon. i didnt buy any skins.

People should be used to the new kid on block is op till next its how they make $ it will always be this way. the nerfs are gonna happen yet classes still clear content.

I can name a dozen games that do this they all got review bombed and recovered within half year as them negative nancies were replaced by positive players

You talk like every review bomb is just noise and every game always recovers. That’s not how it works.Plenty of games take a hit and never come back. Acting like “more players will come later” is just wishful thinking. You don’t build trust or a lasting playerbase by burning early adopters and calling them immature.

F2P doesn’t guarantee survival. It just makes it easier to uninstall and never look back. Nerfs are normal. Bad nerfs with no content are not. People aren’t upset because a character was slightly adjusted. They’re upset because the fun got cut without a plan.

Keep coping with the “this is normal” take. It won’t stop people from leaving quietly while you defend a game they’re no longer interested in.
