You have 6 days and 11 hours to acquire the dog and you'll get the skin. It is the weekly holiday event quest called Descendant's Year-End.

There is just no way for me, personally, to get it. I have two of the dogs BP's but those materials don't drop enough that I can acquire them and build it before the quest is done. I like the Void Vessel and the RNG paths but the low drops just kills it for me.

Hailey, the dog and Keelan are the types of grinds I am not a fan of because they are tedious and have low material drops so have to run them around 100 times to get them all. I would've bought Hailey's Black Thorn cosmetic if I owned her but I don't and probably never will due to the gatekeeping. No reason for anything in this game to be slowed down especially farming except to artificially make players play longer.

Can open Broken boxes for Keelan mats coz they dont use keys

Can open Broken boxes for Keelan mats coz they dont use keys

I think you've got that backwards. Experimental is for Keelan. Special is for pieces to build dog components and food and Genetic is for Food blueprints.

When I first started I was opening all I could but realized that was wrong so I started opening only the bigger boxes which happens to be mostly Experimental.

I try opening only those but they seem to be rarer for me. Not sure if the keys to open them carry over but if they do I'll just have to target farm Special and if not enough get'em on the following run. Thanks.

johnny is right. broken crate is for keelan & experimental crate for dog crafting mats :)

You are both correct. For the special resource for crafting the dog parts open Experimental.

But if you want to level your dog, you need to open Special Materials as well. And occasionally Genetic Information for the BPs for the items to craft from the parts in the Special Materials.

So, I don't really see how you take any shortcuts. You could target the boxes you most need first. But when it comes to the dog, you essentially need all but Broken. Which are free anyway, since they're Broken.

well probably way less if you open just mat boxes and dont gamble. coz i gambled alot + i opened end boss box all runs just to see droprates and thats -1 key every run to.

I mean just focus on mats and then and open Genetic only as much as you need. I have 39 Fortified supliments BP left over so thats 39 keys wasted on top of end bosses so i guess can max level dog in 30 runs if you play smart. There is a proof i am not making things up
