How to progress beyond purge 17??

I have fully built Ines, Freyna, Bunny... and by fully built I mean just about every slot is catalyzed, all mod slots being used. I've watched Moxsy, Vash, Clyde, and others, and have used builds from some of them. I am using a 4 star secret garden, again, fully catalyzed, on ines and freyna. I have am using 4 out of 5 star reactors with the proper implants for the 160% bonus.

For freyna its gold gold dimension power / tech power boost ratio. (need to find toxic/tech)
For Ines, its gold/gold electric/tech boost ratio.
For Bunny, its gold/gold singular boost, cooldown...

Componants, I have a medicore slayer set being used for freyna and bunny (could put it on ines but not sure it'll make the difference).

I barely squeeked out of purge 16 last week, and either die too much or don't have enough damage for the long ass boss fight at the end of 17. Yet, people are running 28/29/30 no problem. How?

Slayer set on Ines is must have IMO. Just need to be with max MP and I really say NEED TO BE WITH MAX MP. Your reactor is good. Just take cover as Exile wrote

He clearly do not know how to play as her. Clyde... serioulsy. Big youtubers aim for views. To be first to get likes. Good small youtubers will really help you. IzNasty, MeiMei or eletokyoo

Up to 20 I rinsed through it all with ult sharen and never failed a stage. After that I used guns, mostly with enzo, sometimes with freyna. I suggest you start working on gun builds if you want to progress into the later stages. Hailey is probably the best at this, but I don't have the right build for her so haven't tried. Currently with Enzo I'm just farming stage 27 in ~5 minutes. It's not really an optimal setup and my guns are still trash, but it works and it's chill cos he's tanky as hell. Gley works of course, and I would think lepic traction 'nade builds with thundercage are probably really good too.

All three of them can do it ,Bunny might be a bit harder but Ines and Freyna 17 its piece of cake . Your components are fine , The reactors are either 2 nd or 3rd best but hey its pain to farm so it ok

I guess its the way you are playing it that causing you to fail , Ines wouldn't need to use guns at that stage so... might suggest seeing some vids as player are clearing higher levels with those descendants.

Albion Hailey/Enzo will carry you through most stages until 28.

28 - 30 play differently compared to the lower levels of erosion.

The main issues you're facing is not clearing in time and dying too often, the former can be circumvented by fixing the latter, never stay in a singular spot, always move around (u can dodge most of the AIs shots in the lower levels compared to the higher ones) and if you really can't be bothered to do any of that, cheese it by standing behind walls, speaking strictly Ines or Bunny.

Ines:
You can ditch the 4x slayer set and go 4x electric or 2x electric/2x cdr (they make you tankier if you've gotten lucky on the stats) and slot in 2 hp modules, ditch front lines or emergency measures for maximise range.

Build a shotgun!
Smithereens or executor (my favourite) super nice against elites in the lower levels and weapon cores make them even stronger at mowing down hp bars.

Ines can pass all 27 levels solo. I am building new weapon right now, but, I think, it is dead end for her. And for 28-30 - Hailey. It sucks, though.

you can get the new lvl 10 cores or lvl x cores if you just re run room lvl 21 or 22 you dont need to go to room 30 its not worth i got to 30 and the game balance is a night mere and most of the people you will match in co op if you get there is mostly pc players noting but cheating now or console players doing noting but abusing game bug exploits to do more dps as they fight to get tfd to even run at 60 fps lol.

just skip this un tell the devs re balance the game the right way and make all builds worth using and not force everything to run meta only or your throwing bs like as of right now tfd is a poop show rn do to this artificial difficulty adjustment bs hard and no one is having any fun smh.
