Fully built character relying on power, that’s my advice for all stages.
Guns are much weaker even with level 7 cores.

Albion Legacy + Enzo/Valby/Haily can be really good.

They boost the crit chance near 100% so the ricochet rounds hit multiple targets.
The cold damage provides pretty good crowd control.

Or
Just use Ines and W key though everything.

Just because you can plug out your pubic hairs with a pincer one by one doesn't mean its a practical or effective idea. Purges are doable with anything, if you put your will behind it, but if you want to reach anything other than clapping yourself on the back for a job well done, it is pointless.

You're spot on. Weapon core is just another bait BS, like many other stuff in this game. You go grinding for it, and, after the next update, it's all pointless. The push for more grinding is never going to end. That's why I'll keep playing with guns just to see how far I can go. After that, I'm done with TFD. ME3 multiplayer is my all time favorite co-op.

There is no way I'll engage in such 1-click-nuke thing.

Play solo. More players = more hp mobs have. Starting from 17 lv +- you will need preparation (bullet type + bonus damage against faction).

Thanks, I'll add it to my list. I planned to try 2 stages a week, it's a long way until stage 20.

Order of Truth (toxic faction) - weak to electro and burst ammo.
Legion of Immortality (electro faction) - weak to toxic and crush ammo.
Legion of Darkness (fire faction) - weak to ice, pierce ammo.
