why do guns even exist in this game

you cant even use them when Ines, Valby, Freyna, Bunny kill the enemies before they even spawn in group content.

to get one gun to max level you need to grind to get
- you weapon to 5/5 level,
- energy activator
- 8 to 10 catalysts
- weapon core

what happens after all that and youre ready to take on some group content with a max level gun? freyna farts and kills all the enemies before you even get to pull the trigger. smh

Its for Yujin and AJax obviously , they have to do something in between their cooldowns

6 months ago guns were a thing, now I barely touch them.
This is not a looter shooter anymore because nobody bothers to shoot.

I’m not sure why I bother at all to install cores.

Well, you can feel impact of a gun while playing solo

But 1,500,000 dps Thunder Cage feels aight in multiplayer too

AFAIK, guns are needed during invasions (boss' shields) and void vessels (Voltia). I still use guns in Inf 250% and basic descendants builds. Virtually any descendant can benefit from synergies with ult weapons.

try out some guns with elemental damage in void erosion, they're cracked with cores in there. weapons have a 8x multiplier in there iirc and can clear the stages as fast as, if not faster than ines skill only. TC gonna be making a comeback soon

for guns you'd need to switch elemental mods depending on the level it could be fire/ice/electric/toxic. Problem is they all require different catalyst types, so if you want to min/max on one gun it's impossible unless you've got a billion catalysts lying around (I don't)

I have Peace Maker on Valby, Blue Beetle on Sharen etc. but I never use them as actual guns, they are just a booster for their skills.

Secret Garden is a pretty good gun (mine is 1M+ DPS), I have it on all tech. characters, but I almost never use it while playing Freyna or Ines, they just carry it in their hands.

Because you don't have a choice, same goes for Enzo and Yujin, they must use guns.
And almost nobody uses these 4 for non-Colossi content because they are highly inefficient.

guns do big dmg in void erosion with elemental advantage mods, rly alot more dmg, and we need them to shoot colossi weak points, but ye they r not used much overall

Lolz I have been playing Ines and Freyna there that I have completely forgotten about the elements affinity and overwhlem mods. Gonna give it a try later

i was killing defiler 38 seconds with ines spamming her 1 skill literally not even looking at him the entire time as i lazily dodged his attacks while watching netflix LOL

thx you for proofing my point the game takes 0 skill and never did but its funny af the try hards that kill him how fast think it takes skill but man i really wish the guns were in line with the descendants skills damage do because if they were people would play ajak ezno and yujin more often and not d ride the slayer set /dps only builds so much like im just asking for the bare minimum here.

Man, how did you get 1M DPS with secret garden? Can you please share your build? I wanted to build tactical and assault rifles next.

True, their boost is minimal. We need 100-200% boost, not 40%. It is a joke.
