Looks smooth, but you have longer animation times which impact gameplay on games like this game.
This PVE game doesn't require extremely low input latency, and DLSS4 upscale is an upgrade for everyone who own RTX card. Do some research before posting something like this.
this comment is as funny as nvidia saying 40s can run DLSS4 but not MFG x3-x4 times.. funny isnt it. i like how nvidia trolls the customers so much rofl.
Nvidia is probably the only company that cares about their customers long term at this point, my 7 year old 2080 can now play this game at a resolution quality that a 7900xtx (or the latest AMD slop) can only dream about lmfao.
DLSS is a lazy way for devs to improve their game performance. Games should not rely on upscalers for better performance but the sad truth is game devs dont care about optimization anymore. In future everything will be about fake frames and upscalers. Without it, its unplayable.
YOU do some research. Its not an upgrade for RTX owners, its a lazy way to improve performance by adding fake frames and insane input delay.
DLSS lowers input lag and delay as the GPU has to do less work for much better results compared to native + AA.
Frame gen increases input lag and delay by about 10-15ms (it's much lower than it would be playing native as Nvidia Reflex is a thing).
No matter how much you cry, it's an upgrade and software matters more than GPU raw power in videogames now, reason why AMD can't compete and completely dropped out of the high end market.
actually you can run x4 mfg with almost no input lag. 36 ms input latency isnt to bad. over 60-70 ms input latency gets bad..
Though tfd is not a competitive shooter, it's still a shooter/action game not a click and point adventure game or turn based game. Anything greater than 1/60*1000 or 16.7ms is bad. Just buy proper hardware to run @ minimum 60 fps @ native, not budget graphic card that runs @ 23 fps and you fake it till you make it @ 230 fps, it will still feel like crappy 23 fps.
Copium to da moon. What's worse, developer don't optimize their games, since the fake and crappy experience is swallowed whole by stupid consumers due to it. Nvidia has the audacity to market that 200+ fps nonsense, smart people don't like frame gen aka fake frames. DLSS/FSR, Scaling is fine, since it's been used since eons past (aka basically playing at lower resolution)
Frame generation and DLSS promote lazy development. I’m with 4090 and I have played several games that can’t maintain 60 FPS @ 4k native even with this card, unless you lower your settings or use DLLS / Frame Gen.
I can’t change this, things are interconnected, so I’m glad when they provide DLSS / FG as a crutch.
PS
Even RTX 5090, which is a grandmotherboard for your motherboard, is very far from providing path tracing (Full RT) at 4k native / 60 FPS.
We were thinking we’ll have flying cars in 2020, instead we got videocards that can be used as assault weapons thanks to their enormous size and weight. LOL
