+1000 to skill power - only if you have top reactor with both golden stats. So it will be like cherry on top.
I upgraded one only for Hailey, but since reactor farm is still junk, I don't have any desire to upgrade anything else.

Its really not that much resources, but its not drastically change anything, but you can max Your characters here and there and summing give bigger numbers to carry 3 zdps joined to Your party XD

You'll wish you had upgraded your reactor to LVL5 when forced to carry three noobs through the newest hard dungeon. Freyna can handle all three phases of "Dread Armor Commando" just fine on her own, but characters like Bunny need all the power she can get, especially if you perfectly loop the Electric Condense explosion.

If you feel it is a waste don't do it then. I like running Infernal Walker on Public to help folks out so I have 1-5 star and 4-4 star reactors on my characters that didn't even feel like a chore. Everyone is different.

Reactors are a waste of everything. I enhance them only to put an additional "favorite" mark on them to avoid accidental trashing while cleaning up inventories

you can say the same thing about reactor farming.
Is it worth spending 1, 10, 100 hrs farming perfect double gold reactors?
The answer IMHO, is where are you going to get that extra power? You can't.
Once you have catalysed everything, and got a full suite of max upgraded modules on your Decendant, what then? Nothing.

Do you need it? Well, are you struggling, would you like the extra power.
I have upgraded three reactors I use to 3*, because what else am I going to do with those quantum incubators? May as well use them, right?

I made a good call prioritizing Hailey then. Farming is Infernal Walker far preferable to running Void Vessel 💀

@assemble: Honestly, I'm not hurting for power at the moment. Reflecting on it, I think the ocd to min/max things got the better of me. Thanks for raising that up.

the only people that really benefit from the extra power are those with low skill power modifiers. and hailey because she needs to do millions of damage to the boss, so that extra 1000 power is more or less an extra 86000 power before further calcs.

but tbh if you can do it, then do it. if not, it is what it is. if its too much of a chore, then slowly over time, as you play the game, you will be able to max at least one reactor. if you dont have fun doing something, then dont do it. this game does not force you to play a certain way, and thats all it is at the end of the day. a game

At some point, all you have left to do is make them +5. Depends on how much you need it though factoring in skill and patience to enhance it (not really hard).

Worth it, period? If you have the mats to burn and a double-gold meta reactor, I guess. More skill power is more skill power. Is it worth stressing over? No, it isn't. Not even for Hailey. L2 is more than enough power to clear all current content in a timely manner, including sub-minute IW clears. The current season still has over two months remaining -- you have plenty of time to casually amass tickets at a very relaxed pace.

Personally, I don't trust these devs enough to go all-in on godrolled reactors just yet. Boss stats have jumped pretty dramatically since release, and I'm half expecting that trend to continue along with a gear level cap increase for us to help us keep up.
