turn off explosions from restore relic?

is there a way to turn these off? I can't see what is going on when someone is using the launcher with the big explosions. It really ruins the game. I tried lowering some of my settings, but nothing has worked so far.

theres a specific setting in the options to turn off explosions from teammates.

EDIT: Went to check the settings and its on the display tab and its called "show explosion effect during combat"

Been a while since I saw someone using a launcher, but last time I saw it did work. No explosions shown. I don't believe they have broken it with a new update.

Because you can hide the blast effects of the purple rocket launcher, but you can't hide the effects of the ultimate rocket launcher. Just like you can't hide the special effects of Greg's rifle.

Tried it myself, doesn't seem to have any affect on the explosions I'm seeing.

People are frequently quitting because of those nasty FX obscuring the battlescape. I wouldn't use that stuff personally but there are plenty who don't give AF about teammates, the same old selfish spammy culprits.

Yeah the option is to turn off Other peoples explosions. But it doesn't turn off your own explosions OR the rocket animations either. The rework literally made the gun worse on the eyes with the rockets splitting into smaller rockets.

I will use this rpg. but couz Yellow smoke . I cant use it. or else no one will play with me. and its have chance they will go play another game after upset on TFD .

They can upset on TFD but not by me.

Followup, I had to restart the game for the option to fully work.

No more explosions, except my own.

I dont want that ugly yellow :o cloud even from my own self. its complete block everything. and now I have 10 of restore relic. or I mean 2 of full tier for each race :o

They should add one more option such as: "completely remove the explosion smoke". Because i hate the smoke but i love using the weapon lol

Exactly this .. I don't use RR more than absolutely necessary BCS the smoke effect sucks so hard.. I wish U could disable it for yourself too... Without the yellow smoke the effects are actually kinda pretty 😁

Even the person shooting can't see either .

But it gets me through 27 in 5 to 6 minutes so I don't care
