It is RNG though, you can get them in almost content but I do notice there are actual spots where they drop more consistently. Like the Elites before the Abandoned Refinery Unit dual boss.
Where is abandoned refinery unit?
Weird... Echo Swamps go to Abandoned Zone The mission is Environment Contamination Zone. You need a Bunny to expedite the process.
If you're flush with all the mats they carry, cool. But they're definitely worth the rewards for folk that have the need.
A few things can be done to resolve this issue: removing the tiered BS, making the use of just code breakers for any current or future difficulty. make code breakers a research item. make the materials to make ultras only collectible by Enzo from opening vaults. Make Enzo the only one that can use ultras.
Enzo's transcendent modules all come from ultra vaults. He is also an electronic engineer, stands to reason he would know how to use electronics the others cannot.
I don't understand why anyone lacks resources for catalyst or activator. 2 to 5 breakers (1 is enough for 8 mixed energy/catalyst and 4 for 32 conductive metallic foil/activator) is enough to craft 1 of each usually and you are more likely to be paced by farming for the other materials like murkey residue or polyatomic ions , etc as well as the research timer.
My breakers naturally fills up overtime, now at a cumulative total of 100 or so where 25 is ultra. I even do almost all content, even invasion, in my farming equipment(modules, consumable, item and equipment drop-rate modifier) except HM void intercept. This is even when I'm crafting about 2 catalysts a day trying to max out some weapons and descendants. Activators, I stopped at 8 since I hardly use them. I'm even approaching the point where I no longer need catalysts...
The Valby Outpost craze left a lot of people rich in gold while poor in code breakers.
Can't say I didn't see that coming; I only wonder how much of that farmed gold was actually spent afterwards. Now they get to enjoy spending just as much time or more grinding breakers alone which is undoubtedly going to be really painful and boring.
With that said, if you're constantly building catalysts chances are you're always running out of base materials and having to farm a bit of them everyday. It eventually becomes a massive chore, more so than opening amorphous for the blueprints.
I'm genuinelly sick of running Unknown Lab and Border Line of Truth for the millionth time.
ima test it later myself :v
All of it in your case (and with you being here tells me you're likelly a minmax or rather experienced kind of player so you likelly didn't spend more time running it than you needed) but my question was in global terms.
How many of those folk that farmed Valby Outpost nonstop went on to spend all that gold they got before leaving the game or just not needing it in those quantities anymore? How many of them kept grinding away just to make their coffers get fatter for the sake of it?
Other farms were less efficient on gold but at least you got other important stuff out of them to compensate for it. Meanwhile Valby farm was just for the gold, xp and dismantables (if you bothered with that); A tremendous waste of time that you now have to compensate for in comparison to those that kept running missions like ambush point, kuiper mine or ECZ.
Plus, with the current showering of gold through invasions and events there's bound to be some among us feeling really dumb that they wasted so much time on an activity that didn't even get them code breakers and other consumables.
The mission with the highest amount of weak mobs would be the best.
