I guarantee you that will not be the case.
Whatever, dealing with this community is surely tedious...
Outta my waaaaaaay !
But players being there since launch already got what they were looking for.
And as season 1 did not bring any meaningful content, there is nothing much to do.
October 10 won't change this, knowing what will it bring.
Still no new content, just a boss which will be overtuned, so most players will just whine about it the forums. So, it will be a content which just like invasion, won't be played much and definitely won't attract players back to the game.
ETA won't help this, either.
The new frog skins won't help this, either.
There will be nothing to do till season 2.
Until then, hopefully the game can stay alive on life-support.
I really wish this game to get better, since the action part is very good and fun.
Sadly the rest is not so much. Hopefully, just yet.
I'm inclined to agree TEAL & 顔黒 .. but i am silently hoping they will add some decent items (energy activators, control axis, etc), skins and stuff rare to get in there. it would make it a less of a grind for some of the new players. and allow the somewhat older players to rank up more weapons and so on. not all people are hardcore players and their casual players are starting to dislike the grind. so they will need to address both the hardcore players and the casual players wants for the game.
Often people compare this game with Warframe and are so proud of that game, but as i remember, WF was also a empty, few worlds grind for a very long time. it only became a more playable game after a few years
I trust that in time this will slowly grow to be a more diverse game, if they listen to their player base.
as for gameplay, i would would love to see an endless horde mission and a much longer solo/group mission ~seperate quest of backstory, pre-story, where you would have to spend a 30+ minute mission, ~not only doing one thing and one thing only.
Oh they will (well maybe not energy activators) that is not the issue, but that merchant will have his own loot table determining it's inventory every week and it's a given that the more rare or desirable items will have a very low chance of showing up no different than the chance of getting it from amorphous materials.
At best it'll add an additional chance or two of getting a drop every week and even then we don't actually know how much of that new currency everything will cost but knowing Nexon those 200 Enzo stabilizer blueprints you probably have won't be worth much.
Especially because that new currency can be obtain from the new dungeon and they really want you to run that dungeon and not turn in old crap.
