(Web Event) Freyna's shop - don't link Steam to Nexon account

New event came out today, which redirects you to their website but requires you to log in with Nexon account or use "guest" login via Steam/Xbox/PSN.
Unfortunately using "guest" login doesn't work for some players and you might even see a popup with text "Please try logging in with the linked Nexon account (113125)", which means you should use Nexon account credentials to log in as you already have them linked.

If you haven't done so previously DO NOT LINK your Steam/Xbox/PSN account to Nexon, WAIT for them to fix "guest" logins. There is a very real possibility you will lose all your progress (including all purchases) after linking your accounts. Their customer support isn't very good so it might take a long time to recover. You have been warned.

For all the tinfoil hat folks, this might be a push from Nexon to migrate as much players to their platform as possible, similar to what Sony tried to do with Helldivers 2.

well i had my Steam Account linked to nexon for a long time, so wasnt affected by the possible wipe .. however thats doesnt help either

if i try to login via Steam .. it says this steam account is linked to a Nexon id.
if i try to login via Nexon ... it redirects me to nexon.com account settings, but still on the freyna even shop it says i am not logged in ...

overall did you guys realized the event rewards are like a 10 times worse then before LOL
before with the dailies you did get
- 5h XP booster,
- 2x 100K Kuiper
- 20x Precission Thingie

Now for doing the very same thing you ll get 5 Points :)
which you could exchange for 1 5h XP booster ... sure other things as well ... but the overall value went south by a lot

My account is linked to nexon and i logged in just fine.

i did 10 times infiltration mission doesn't count, and all others i did shows finished in 27/9 not 26/9, am i living in future....

i cant link my account steam to nexon account, when link my account steam to nexon my game starting to 0, anyone have same problem or can solve this ?

Logging in with steam worked for me about an hour ago, and it worked fine again just now. If you're running an adblocker or noscript extension, try disabling it on the event page and logging in again.

My account is linked to nexon and i logged in just fine.

Not surprised, at least that works. My post is for people who haven't done so already and are not aware of potential issues.

Does anyone know a safe way to link Steam account to Nexon account? Please describe your steps in great detail.

Edit: I was brave enough to try it and didn't lose progress.
1. First, I created the Nexon account long ago. But I created the Nexon account after playing on Steam and spent some money.

2. On the Nexon Account site, I went to Account Settings -> Linked Account -> Link/Delink Account, and I logged in using Steam.

It does alert you that from now on, log in using Nexon Account or something.

3. I logged into the game, and everything is in tact. Checking Options page confirmed that my Nexon account is linked.

My steam account is NOT linked to the nexon site and i did the guest login which worked after the second try.
So i suggest to try it a few times if it doesnt work at first. GL

Did you tried to login from Nexon main site https://www.nexon.com/main/en and then process to event tab?

https://tfd.nexon.com/en/events/2024/09/freynashop , no problem logging in with my steam account. Are you using an aggressive script or adblocker that might mess up website code? Try using MS edge browser or your backup browser that has no plugins or extensions.
