Report a translation problem
The real problem lies with the battle-pass content in general. It's littered with unpopular cosmetics and trash you don't really need or want. There is nothing to work for or be excited about, just another tickbox on your grind list.
Currently it's not great no. Look on the bright side, you don't have to invest into it!
The Excava should trigger AoE explosions on mobs while they are alive and the Thundercage as a weapon that triggers AoE Explosions when mobs die as to still have a diffrence between them.

but i agree, for Weapon with real money its not good enough... hope DEVS hear... and tweak the gun

Thunder Cage should have been a tactical rifle.

What the hell were the devs thinking?!?!
The highest CC you could get it with modules is a pathetic 15%. They seriously need to change the base CC to 15-20%, otherwise it'll just remain trash.
As an example thunder cage has a base CC of 20%.
I understand and agree, but not every weapon has to be top tier IMO
Looking at the base stats of the weapon, it's supposed to be build with Fire Rate and Magazine size in mind. This in itself isn't bad, the issue is that the Unique Ability is underperforming and needs a buff (IMO)
I don't think that is the solution. We should have different weapons with different properties for variety. Else every weapon would just be "Build crit and GG".
You can build the EXCAVA with fire rate and magazine size and it's fine.
The issue why it underperforms is due to it's lackluster Unique Abilty and scaling. This should be buffed on the EXCAVA
Look at the Python, it has 5% crit chance, but does insane damage due to it's WP.
A weapon doesn't need to have high crit chance to be good, but if it doesn't have high crit chance, it needs other properties to make up for it. (Which the EXCAVA doesn't have) that is the issue/fix with EXCAVA
Third worst category behind hanguns and beam rifles.

There's reasons why crit builds better than wp builds.
If weapon don't have high base wp like x2, and it have poor crit stats, it's just weak weapon and no sense to use it.
No Weakpoint dmg, no Crit dmg, Crit Rate only from the Skill.
And the Skill dont scale with the modded Weapon dmg, only the base dmg.
I actually did completely forget about them. Shows how much use they get in general :D
