Invasion Quarantine Zone guide anywhere ?

Is there a guide on it anywhere ?
I can get through the first two stages ok, but on the last stage it kinda seems random when matching colored pads drops the bosses shield.On the rare occasion I manage to get that far im on my last life and 3/4 dead.
I must of tried this mission 30 times, its more like banging your head against a brick wall than anything fun

Stand on the color of the boss shield, shoot the shield. It's not random, it's just annoying.

You have to be on the pad while shooting, not match them to unlock immunity ?

If it is the boss? Yeah, you just stand on the corresponding color and shoot the shield. If you're opening a door, you match the colors.

You have to be on the pad that matches the color of the shield in order to deal dmg tot he shield to take it.
