L Update, L Hailey Rescue Operation and Inversion Mission, It's Impossible on Solo!?!?!

Nice update The First Descendant Team, you have to do this Hailey Rescue Mission Solo only?!?! your insane and all of us are having trouble with this stupid and unfair story quests and Inversion Dungeon because of this update you post, this is impossible and now i am stuck on this story because it's on solo and hard and i want my refun this update for a better update for solo to Co-op story to do Inversion Dungeon and Hailey Rescue Operation mission this instant! >:(

Yeah.. she has parts that come from hard mode misisons like magister's lab, and slumber valley for the first piece. Running with a public group is fairly quick at 2:30/mission but the drop chance is rng. Some people just want to play through the story without necessarily wasting time upgrading their character and weapons, which takes several extra hours. Basically, if someone hasn't spent 50 hours doing that, they'll never be able to finish the game.

The prerequisite is that you're able to clear the invasion dungeon so you're going to need an upgraded character and weapon regardless. If you (not you specifically but in general) aren't able to clear the new content, it's best to see what you're lacking and focus on improvements.

Bosses and new content in this game are dps and survivability checks. I'm not going to defend nexon's time-gated practices because we know how bad those are nowadays but there's over a month until the next big seasonal content. It's okay to take things in a bit more slowly. All we're going to do after finishing the missions is grinding for other characters, weapons, modules, or gold

but the farm is take too long to get her parts so they added an update this Saturday, and for next week on Thursday they will finally change the rules of the inversion dungeon's

im playing on ps5 and even using a bunny max increase hp and increase shield still have issues as get swarmed while trying stay on pads long enough to turn em or the long rangers get ya after while jumping to take out swarmers not to mention the circle room with the 2+ guys that deactivate the pads so gotta get em again so those that say its easy how about since thiers no PvP share your mod builds ya used to clear it help folks out

The invasion boss is still far easier than if you do any hard mode dungeon with 200% multiplier or arguably even on 100% multiplier. The puzzle is annoying, but doable. Among the three the pillar is the most annoying as ypu have to stand in that drone circle for good 5s while being bombard with 0 cover.

like to know that too.
i have upgraded everything to max on hp and shield and i still cant defeat the boss because im always running around and shooting hordes. cant even stand on the pad for 2 seconds without getting shot at or my shield being down with nearly every mob that immediately along.

Ajax main here, put shield and melt the boss with secret garden, that boss cant even break my shield, some time V to clear trash, pretty easy, just cant do collecting mission as fast as bunny.

dont have Ajax just bunny freyna and vieese after talking alpha to start mission only made it to boss couple times its the big room with device in center tends mess me over most times as most times i got go clear other side for a 1 of 3 pads then they reset 1 or more on me or destroy em changing color or swam me cant move or gun me down if i try jumping to avoid melee since bunny is good only when she can move

If having trouble, make sure HP and Defense mods are on and run in there with Bunny to AoE the mobs, and hide behind a wall if you need to if you need to dodge the bosses attacks and the heat seeking attacks.

Is this still accurate? Just tried doing it during my run and nothing happened?

The Invasions proper (unlocked after completing the Hailey Rescue Mission) are a bit more clear about their mechanics, but you are supposed to burst down the boss's barrier (guns or skills is up to you) while you yourself are on top of a tile with the same color as the barrier (jumping in place still counts as being on top of the tile, thankfully). Once the barrier is down, you will have a window of opportunity to deal as much damage as possible to the boss before they gain a new barrier to break.

You have to look at the colour of the shield on the boss and step on the plate of that same colour. As long as you remain on it your attacks will do damage to the shield, eventually disabling it, and then you can move around again if you need to while continuing to do damage to the boss.

It will pop up the shield again at some point, changing the colour, so you have to repeat this phase again as many times as it takes.

I completed the mission on my first try with Ajax, it isn't very hard if you're at least 50% done with your catalysts on him and the guns.
