At the start of the mission, it tells you go grapple onto a floating platform which will light up the coloured circles on the ground, which you stand on 3 of them to open up the barrier.
For the boss, it doesn't tell you anything on how it works, but this is what you do from what I gathered:
The floor has a bunch of coloured circles again, but there's multiple of the same colour, 3 of each I think.
Just run around and step on a colour until one of the colours react, lets say that colour is red. Now just run and find the other 2 red circles which will delete the bosses immunity.
If you take too long finding the correct colour, some loud sound will play which will change which colour to stand on, meaning you just have to find the correct colour again and step on the same colour circles again.
If having trouble, make sure HP and Defense mods are on and run in there with Bunny to AoE the mobs, and hide behind a wall if you need to if you need to dodge the bosses attacks and the heat seeking attacks.
The boss you just have to find the same color platform, stand on it, then shoot the shield. Once the shield is gone, then you can attack the boss from anywhere. It is annoying.
Best advice: get your Bunny up to speed, then those missions are easy. And yes, you see them again in the new Vulgus Invasions. I would not even attempt any of them without Bunny or Valby.
That would have been nice. I tried it first with Hailey and quit at the boss because there was no way she could have done that solo with all the ads attacking. Right now, intentional or not, this game has been made for Bunny.
That boss is *** easy.
Yes, yes, I suppose I need to adjust all my stuff for higher defense/sheild/hp.
What? The mission is really easy. I did have to ask several people how you were supposed to do it, but once I knew, it was easy. The boss was far easier than he is in the hard mission that uses the same map.
I can only assume your Descendant or weapons are not modded well. I mean it's not even a question of skill.
Certainly seems to be the case for Season 1.
The first part is easy. The boss is definitely not easy. I have 4 catalysts on my ult Viessa, running a Cold-bloodedness build, fully modded TC and a decently modded Tamer. Absolutely none of that matters when one shot from the boss kills you instantly. And it's not like you can get better. At this point, you can only slightly adjust things like DEF/HP. Sure, i can use a different Descendant, but now I gotta go grind one of them for a while. Just annoying when they make this mission the start of the whole season, sure didn't need to be this hard.
