Season 1, first wave update is kinda... bad...

I don't know, is it just me or most of the new staff added to the game - just s**cks?

I mean, yeah, we can switch between 2 socket types (still limited but better). UX is awful but its nice to have this feature. No need to roll manually for higher percentage in missions and we can now craft up to 500 consumables. It's fine...

But...
1. If I calculated that correctly, in order to unlock new descendant Hailey you have 3 options:
- Buy it
- Farm 144+ "calling of the descendant" type missions (you cannot do it quicker via this option, only slower)
- Farm invasion missions with ideal score 48 times, which is 24 days with "2-per-day" limit
Ehm, wtf!??!?!?!? It's not even an Ultimate descendant. And while some people got humiliated with RNG to the absolute nonsense level, on average people farmed staff much quicker for Ultimate characters. Judging by some stats - up to 77 runs almost guaranteed drop chance or 44 with stabilizer. Sometimes you could've get lucky and obtain a blueprint from first 5 runs. Now, with regular blueprints we are stuck at 144+ or 24 days for regular descendant???
2. Ajax skin which you have to level up - kind of lame in comparison with Bunny skin from pre-season shop.
3. No new bikini skins? Wrong move. (I'm kidding, but... seriously, it felt kind of obvious... even from business perspective).
4. Invasions - are lame as f... So called "puzzles" on the kindergarden level of difficulty and in fact they are exactly the "mechanics which devs removed from hard operations so players won't waste time capturing points". So what's the point?
5. Battle pass - didn't changed... at all? Same junk, no?
6. Bonus shop - same junk
7. Battle supply shop - just the same thing. For bonus shop and battle supply I do not care much cause its a free in-game loot after all. Unlike battle pass and Ajax skin.

So, aside couple minor changes here and there + new socket system it kinda feels ... bad to me. What do you think?

I think its good so far. bunny skin required you to kill 150k enemies with skills to unlock so I have no idea what u talking about not having to level it up.

I really, really dislike invasions. I don't care for the dance-pad color mini game at all. It's horrible for solo play and would be trivial in groups. Useless mechanic.

I have Bunny skin leveled up, I'm aware. What I meant is that visually Ajax skin feels boring in comparison with what they made for Bunny and her 3rd stage where she has transparent body and you can see her bones.

I think content wise it seems pretty cool, the season stat feature, the catalyst thing is awesome aswell, on that front I think its cool. But...

Battlepass.... slightly better than the last but... barely lol... still crap tbh
Bonus shop is a complete joke... again...
Battle supply shop... at least the coins a bit more realistic to farm now but as far as the rewards go... "meh"...

the new descendant farm is a complete clusterF*... I have no idea why they would come up with that now...

The dev team is on the right track with the content, but the balance between what you pay for and how you get it ingame is even worse with this descendant. + they still refuse to provide a single decent descendant skin in the battlepass. This tells me that there might be some kind of internal struggle between devs and nexon (publisher) because there seems to be "a force at play" that refuses to provide cool cosmetics that you can farm.

Battlepass content and invasions are pretty bad. First we got rhythm mini game inside shooter, then tennis mini game inside boss fight. Now we get annoying color buttons dances. What's next? Chess mini game or sudoku?

Idk, judging by patch notes and what I've heard from others - it is limited to 2 times. Maybe each invasion dungeon limited to 2 runs, not 2 runs in total for all dungeons.
But even if there is no limit at all - we speaking about 48 perfect runs which have 100% chance to give you everything you need, as far as I understand. And you cannot do it quicker... I mean yeah, you won't get into situations like before - when you can roll a hundred materials to find out that you have a bad luck. But it was a corner case statistically.

Yup. I do not play Ajax, but I feel bad for other descendants cause they deserve more love, imho. Especially in terms of evolved skins. Twisted worship set looks like devs putted more creativity in it rather than into Ajax evolved one.

Terrible update not worth any ones time, and the player base will show this in like 2 days.

Kind of a flop of an update. There's some stuff I liked (Luna has new modules that seem useful), but the new content is meh. I was looking forward to Ajax's evolving skin, but that's also very meh.
