So, who is the first descendant?

Is it someone we'll meet in the future updates, the first guy to have reawakened the arche?
Or is the title merely one of those generic catchy sounding names? And the first descendant is us, not in the chronological sense, but in the sense of 'best', 'most accomplished/outstanding'?

I think it's either Rhydon, because it was the first one made or Bulbasaur because it's number 1 in the Pokedex.
Though you might also say Arceus was first because it's, well, God so I'm not sure.

They sound like they f'd up something fierce. We're all just here for the mop-up and it's really going badly. There's also the magisters. They're so bent to get the Ironheart that they'd threaten assured destruction for the world after "helping" us.

There is info of the first descendant in the game already. I'll look for it again, but I think it was either a journal entry or in one of the weapon description.

Unfortunately, Clifforth had their own Architect who called himself the Sovereign, and whereas the Ancestor created and destroyed civilizations for fun, Sovereign created his own species called the Vulgus and was obsessed with making them the greatest to exist in the universe. So despite their individual prowess, the Ancestors were annihilated by the far superior fire and manpower of the Sovereign's creations.

I'm not sure if they were stronger than Descendants, who have modules and weapons.

I think Karel is. I think the Ancestor civil war saw him exiled across planes. Or trapped in the void with the colossi. The Vulgus I think are just creations by him, and the other magisters that didn't defect to the human side.

That is why he knows so much about where everything is. I think the Magisters were basically his "Generals" or Ancestors that sided with him. The one that is still with him, I think is one of the last remaining ones on Karels side.

Vulgus are their own race created in a different dimension by an Entity called Sovereign.
Though back when Jeremy was trying to improve humans with vulgus tech, I did think that maybe Vulgus were humans in the past.

Found it. It is the second record in the second row of the Ancient Ruins records. The record is called The Day the Descendants Were Born 3. It's along the cliffs to the left of the Vulgus Blockade mission in Hagios Dune Base. Didn't want to outright spoil it, so pick it up. The other Ancient Ruins records are also interesting.
