How to fix Molten Fortress and Gluttony
Molten Fortress:
Tried around 20 times, cleared 2, maybe 3.
-Reason for failure: Can't get the colossus out of invulnerable state, so people just leave.
-Main Cause: Can't align pylon arrows fast enough.
Solution: Make arrows turn much faster (about 10 quicker).
-Secondary cause: Firebombs reset arrows too often.
Solution: Reduce fireball frequency and/or make it obvious which ones will hit the ground vs. pylons, so they are easier to defend.

Gluttony:
Tried about 50 times, but it could have been 100 (it certainly felt like it). Couldn't clear it even once. Gave up.
-Main reason for failure: Colossus overheats and wipes team.
-Cause: Frost balls are almost impossible to aim properly, move too slow, take too much ammo.
Solution: Make a cooling mechanic that can be aimed accurately, directly, and consistently. (Change it into a launcher that can be picked up and used as a weapon, or make the bubbles debuff players so their weapon cools the boss instead of dealing damage etc.)
-Secondary reason for failure: Colossus easily kills players with 1 or 2 attacks.
-Cause: Gluttony deals way too much damage compared to other colossi, even to tank characters equipped only with hp, shield, def, frost resistance mods.
Solution: Reduce Gluttony attack damage.

The real solution will be the devs dumping their hard-mode boss gating and reducing the defense and hitpoints on the mobs by an order of magnitude. Just like they did today with Pyromaniac :lunar2019piginablanket:

I think making colossi weaker so players can just bypass the mechanics instead of engaging them is what's useless.

you forced play with trollers who want be carry is bs design report doant work, they dont get and 1-24 hours ban becouse they sppam the DC all time, now they demand you to pick sniper girl so they can win 3 sec becouse they dont want deal with boss.

Nothing wrong with either of those fights. Just do them with people that aren't functionally impaired.

Molten Fortress is actually pretty easy with the right setup. The meteors it uses to hit the pillars can be destroyed, so use something like Enduring Legacy to destroy them.

Gluttony I've yet to clear. The wipe mechanic is just too fast. But, I also don't really care to clear it now since Noise Surge was added to Executioner.

People complain about Season 1 grind gating Hailey and making them go to the cash shop for her.
Waiting now to see how long people complain that group colossus mechanics gate content so they are forced to buy descendents with broken builds and clear them in stupidly low times with the boss barely able to do any mechanics that matter.

Compare this to various SWTOR operations where you can just gather a bunch of pugs on fleet and if necessary explain the mechanics as you go along.
Each boss can be as complicated as a single TFD boss fight in mechanics and each raid can go for 30+ minutes depending on whether people know what they are doing or not. But at least there's time before each boss to make sure everyone knows what they are doing.
TFD just throws you in and starts, whether people know what to do or not.
And players don't want to actually gear up for mechanics since they are so used to being carried.
And seriously, a 30-60min operation in TFD is unthinkable by the current population that demands clears in under 3 minutes.

It's partly the TFD dev fault for how they set up these raids, and partly the player fault for being spoiled by carries.

That's not incorrect in a vacuum, organised groups can do them without much issue as they currently are. But when we account for the fact the game is pretty much built around PUGs, and the clear rate of these colossi is abysmal in PUGs, well...I'd say something's very wrong.

While it's true the fireballs can be shot (they're weak so no need for Legacy, any weapon will do), there're so many in a bunch it's hard to see which ones are going for the pylons until it's too late. One of the 2 pylons you're guarding will get hit even if you manage to shoot one. In any case, the real issue is the dial turning speed from what I've seen.

Whoever came up with idea of molten fortress is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥. You can be on top of your game, and only one person in your team can completely ♥♥♥♥ up this fight, to the point no matter what you do this boss will be just unbeatable. Are those clowns even testing their own game?

I think making colossi weaker so players can just bypass the mechanics instead of engaging them is what's useless.
If they continue gating equipment, weapons and descendants behind harder and harder colossus fights then everyone except super tryhards will remain eventually, not all regular hardcore players are necessarily part of that tryhard minority even and they're already a very small sect of the playerbase.

The mechanics themselves are slow, clunky, inaccurate, difficult to see, so I'd say it is hard actually and it's reflected in the clear rates.
For example, in Hanged Man all you have to say is "Shoot mouth when it's immune" at the beginning and you'll have no problem clearing it with randoms. The mechanic is simple, straightforward, precise. As long as 1 person knows, it's GG. Same with Frostwalker.
These 2 on the other hand...PUGs are getting trainwrecked.

your solution mostly good, but sadly theres easier solution
go in with premade, either discord or world chat
i honesly never clear tony with rando

molten on the other hand, you can pre fire the meteor thingy with gley+vestigal organ
sure you wont be able to deal with pillar but the other 3 can deal with it without meteor raining over them
molten i can 70% of the time clear it with rando, the other 30% cuz some lepic/hailey leave when they unable to 1 phase boss
