Moxsy's Ult Freyna Build

Moxy did some interesting things with his Ult Freyna 400% Dungeon build, using Venom Synthesis. It looks like most other content creators have stuck with Contagion. I'm still in the process of testing out the various recommendations. I think both build types can clear these rooms efficiently, so the determining factors for me are going to be (1) which one has the best 4th ability to take on the 2 bosses in the last room and (2) which one is actually faster in a public lobby since I don't plan to solo.

Venom Synthesis greatly increases running speed so if it has a similar or better 4th ability then Moxy's build could be better. I'll report back after some real world testing.

Venom Injection does look good. But hard to say if it's better than Contagion due to that Contagion can be applied by 2 skills. If the invasion could land on the Fortress map once again it'd be nice.

But for bosses or generally Colossus I think you need the Toxic Mixture as it boost the damage a lot the more HP you lost.

Don't forget that they massively buffed the Enduring Legacy some time in the preseason...prior to that buff the Enduring Legacy wasn't nearly as good in general.

Another thing to consider with Venom Synthesis is that when doing a public lobby there are 3 other Descendants taking out the mobs, which further tips the balance toward running speed. I'm actually still leaning toward Contagion but will test out Venom Synthesis.

I do, and he did have a point since Tamer then had the highest damage per shot for all general round weapons and highest DPS. Its weakness was the huge inaccuracy but that isn't a problem if you get in really close. I used the Tamer then and it was very good for what it does.

Topic is literally about talking about the module and if it's better. Rather than just whining about people bringing up Youtubers opinion you could post your "facts" on what is better.

Tamer at the level you get it is better than any other gun in the game.

And still hits pretty hard in infiltration where crit and weakpoint dmg disabled

Eternal willpower was and is much better.
Thundercage, a weapon you get earlier than Tamer was and is much better, easily the most used primary in the game even now.

Apart from a built in stoppage every 26 rounds. There is also another concept that is not often considered but the military calls it "stowed kills", i.e the amount of "kills" you can get with what you carry. Tamer, with its high power per shot has the most focused reliable damage for the 400 rounds you can carry on you.

While I also do use Thunder Cage from time to time, neither of them really exclude each other, they have different roles.

Tamer is a much better bossing weapon than thundercage, even without considering how much it can gain from the likes of mental focus and sharp precision shot. Enduring legacy before the buff was about the same as a tamer, esp if you consider colossus crit resist, and importantly tamer is actually significantly more accurate because it doesn't bloom like legacy, which also means it can be modded for accuracy. In infiltrations with no crit or weak point, tamer slaps way harder than anything else, and it's even better now with the new mods.

As for the OP, I haven't really done thorough testing and math, but at a glance contagion is just worse now, and visually more obnoxious to boot. The move speed from VS is nice too.

Honestly you dont really need contagion in pub because chances are another freyna will have it either way. With skill expansion, both her skills will cover enough area poison most mobs in a room in 400%. Freyna's issue right now is dispatching bosses quick enough.

Btw, venom baptism can spread contagion too.

Also, what is with this community's overtly hostile reaction to any opinion lol. Every single time someone makes an opinion, people here lash out as if their very person was insulted.

Contagion is mostly for mobbing and is fun to spread aoe around. Venom synthesis add quality of life that allow freyna to run faster in dungeon mobbing farm. Venom injection is for bossing, mostly solo bossing that allow you to kill the boss asap in one phase. I use all of these builds and it's fun to switch around depend on the situations.
