Steam deck issue

Anybody playing at deck, do you guys have the issue that game keep disconnecting? i know that deck said not compatible, but despite that we still can install and play the game
before the update i was doing fine, but after the update game keep disconnecting and it kinda annoys me quite a bit

that happens to me, I know is annoying at the last boss down 30% then Hello NE:1000, even same on my linux pc, I was checking windows user get this too just don't know if happen more on steam deck/linux as I gave up windows long time ago, and I'm fine to deal with the problom just annoys me lol

The devs doesn't listen to steam deck users, i am another user with this problem. Also no jiggle physics yet

yes. Playing on LE steam OLED with all settings on low. The game just cant run properly in certain zones. Unless the devs update the game to run on steam deck i dont think its 100% playable. Most ive gotten out of mine is maybe 2 hours max, and thats not with any freyna's on screen. If I try to go into a defense or invasion mission the game crashes back to the main menu.

Yeah I did all low on my steam deck too with out frame gen and epic games TSR at performace was playable to do little farming and other things. I did try out fsr but overly to sharp the textures. Outdoors with out not to many thing going on is around 30 to 40 fps.

I am pretty sure it is the result of their anti-cheat software. The game will run on the Steam deck without any real issues, but around once an hour, like clock work, the game will crash. Some times it will be sooner depending on when you log in, but when you log back in, it will be around an hour.

It would be one thing if it were crashing during battles or with a bunch of enemies on screen, but you can be standing in the corner of an empty room and have it crash on you.

This makes me think that it is trying to phone home or tap into your OS, can't because Linux isn't Windows, and it crashes as a result.

I play on Linux exclusively and usually for multiple hours at a time. I will sporadically get the NE:10000 (maybe once or twice a week) but it seems random as to when it happens or what I'm doing when it does.

i see, recent updates feels much better
last time i managed to play 3 hours without any disconnect
then yesterday i got disconnect 3x within 1 hour
i really don't know anymore at this time

I play on linux via Proton, this is happening, but a lot less than early on. Best I can tell it's more of a serverside connection issue, but linux users might experience it more perhaps(edit: I mean more than windows players).

At least reconnecting has started working for me in the last few updates so I sometimes can now successfully reconnect and rejoin the squad I was with.

well unfortunately for me i cannot rejoin the squad in all contents, except spec ops
other than spec ops if i got dc, it's gone

yeah does sucks getting dc, I can get every hour then play it all day with no dc

It will never run properly on Linux because of the way they have implemented Easy Anti Cheat.
I am not on Steam Deck, but on Linux, the best you can do is install easy anti cheat runtime from the library and then add PROTON_USE_EAC_LINUX=1 in the launch options for the game. I did this and the rate of disconnects have lowered.
Now I am facing another issue where the game just freezes randomly. The latest update have really amplified this one.

new update seems like creating whole new bugs too apparently i guess
