Future additions to the game
Anyone else want to see things like clans, custom houses, competitive modes, boss rush, etc. I think they’d add a lot more value to keep players engaged with the systems of the game. I’d also love to see a trading system added in at some point once they’ve added everything they’ve already stated.

Yes, it would be nice to have more engaging game modes, and specifically what you mentioned, they already confirmed an endgame mode with leaderboards, I don't remember if it was for the second part of season 2 or the beginning of season 3.

They talked about Trading, it's a possibility, but first they want to improve the stability of the game and focus on the content.

apartments were already mentioned multiple times but devs didn't comment
so far all my friends prefer Once Human over TFD because there's so much customisation including houses there

I like these suggestions. These could add a little bit of fun to one of the most boring gameplay designs. But it's still not going to fix the game's main issues (if you know what they are)

Houses - No, I frankly think this is a game that does not need them, and its wasted development effort.

Clans - I could see the value of them, but.....idk

Competitive modes - definitely not, the one thing that appeals in this game to me is the lack of such modes.

I rather see them implement actual QoL changes that are badly needed rather than focus on your suggestions.

just my opinion. and what QoL changes do you want to see added? They have updated the game several times to make things easier both in combat, leveling, missions, and now events.

Lol nah im a survivor main, but i do play nurse from time to time.

Yeah I think with the addition of more stuff to do outside of the typical grind loop would keep people playing. After gridning for hours it'd be nice to chill with your friends in one of their houses. Was one of my favorite things to do in old school PSU.

just my opinion. and what QoL changes do you want to see added? They have updated the game several times to make things easier both in combat, leveling, missions, and now events.

QoL like for example:
- Upgrading normal to ultimate descendants retaining catalysts used
- Selecting the sockets upon completing a descendant / ultimate weapon craft (there are cases where the default unlocked ones are not always good and you essentially waste catalysts on them)
- A form of a pity system
- Actual meaningful end game
- Reactor stats (part of it is coming)
- Outposts (changes coming, cause currently they are plain annoying)
- Descendant re-work (also coming. For example some descendants are not even able to do all of the game content, and its not because of being weak or damage, they simply cannot, for example Yujin cannot do any void shards by himself as he cannot even start them)
- Improvements to weapon readjustment

Most of the stuff you’ve listed is already coming to the game, including a pity system with the next season. As for changing outposts I think that’s a horrible idea, outposts is one of the fastest farms that players usually look to do as a group rather then solo play. As for wanting normal descendants becoming ultimates while transferring all catalysts this would also ruin a major part of the game, farming. The game is still being developed as a free to play so end game content is far from arriving.

Outpost rework as in the morph materials you can only get with sharen. They are a nightmare to farm. Gameplay should be relatively enjoyable and rewarding, currently outposts are all but rewarding, regardless how fast the farm is.

Upgrading descendants:
This will not impact any farming, in fact it will give worth to gameplay as most players do not bother with normal descendants because all effort on them is wasted when the ultimate version releases, hence why the upgrade option, that way you are not forced to wait for the ultimate version to invest time and play the game working on the normal version.

You need to start looking at the game as a whole and not personal bias as to what you personally like, but what helps attract more players and provides worth in gameplay.

Whats "boss rush"? Like "who can kill a specific boss the fastest"? So even more arms race? Do you think that working on a pre-made team with enough firepower to kill a specific boss in (or under) one second is going to increase the fun so drasticaly?

A new mode would increase the games appeal and would definitely keep people around longer with more to do outside the typical grind loop. By boss rush I mean collosi battle after battle, maybe two at once to test our builds and maybe no respawns making it even tougher.

Well, I for one would LOVE to see player housing. Just because your majesty doesn't think it's necessary, his majesty can stuff it.
