What is a Good Default Critical Hit Rate?
In case you don't know, the +Critical Hit Rate mods aren't additive, they are multiplicative, this means, if you weapon have, as default, 10% Critical Hit Rate and you add a mod with +10%, the Critical Hit Rate of your weapon goes to 11%, not 20% because it's +10% on top of the default 10% of your weapon (10% of 10 = 1, so 11%).

This means that only weapons with a high DEFAULT Critical Hit Rate is worth to add +Critical Hit Rate mods... I saw weapons with 10% CHR, and some weapons with 20% CHR, what is the weapon with the highest default Critical Hit Rate?

Press J -> Access Info -> Weapons -> hover over weapon and press F1 and it wil lshow the base stats of the weapon.
Look up which has which crit rate.

That's only for crit based weapons.
20% base and slap on more crit hit modules later especially if your weapons has limited rounds per magazine. Remember the whining about "20%", you need to do/have more runs/hits to have a good crit average...

Non crit weapons, below 20%, like tamer, you can just ignore it and add on more ATK like elemental ATK or you'll be wasting module capacity...

The same way as weapons, supposedly we should be able to see Descendant critical rate, or a specific skill critical rate, no?

anything below 50% is not worth it IMO, although snipers do get to that number for their base.

I don't think there are crit rate mods that go up to 50%. I tried slapping all my upgraded crit mods on a 20% assault rifle and it didn't even touch 30% at the end and I'm not about to heavily invest on a weapon solely by its base crit rate.

I usually go for Base/Elem ATK >> Fire Rate/Recoil >> Reload/Rounds per Magz >> Ultimate mods.

You can view your descendant stats in the inventory, whatever the button on the bottom right that says "Go to info".

Even if the weapon has low crit rate, its still worth to toss some crit damage on it.. like my tamer shoots normal for 12k-22k with 60k-101k crits. I roll with firearm attack%, fire rate, crit rate and crit damage(yes I invested into it before i knew of the info tab, so my tamer is 15% rate lmao), and slightly extra weakpoint damage. Whenever I think of something better to toss on it, ill probably replaced my upgraded crit rate mod with either reload or a element.. or just leave it off and max everything else.. still not sure yet

Though if its not a machine gun, probably investing in a fast reload with crit damage for constant damage would be nice
