Can I play with my PC account on the PS5?

Good question actually. I have two steam accts. Both can play FD with different characters.

My only thought would be if you link both PS5 account and Steam account with Nexon account.

As far as i can tell, no, the game uses the steam account, it has crossplay not cross save, but to make sure, ask the developer.

Thanks for the warning, playing this game on the PS5 seems to be the safest option, I had to do a fresh Windows 11 install on my pc to be able to avoid crashes

Yes you can play on your PS5 with the same account as long as its linked through a Nexon account. I have mine linked through Steam, PSN and Xbox. You can only be on one at a time, but yes the same characters and progress.

There are some who have had issues with progress loss. Not sure how that happened.

What I do know is that I started playing on PS5, first character and everything.
Then I saw the link Twitch account, followed that.
Said to make a Nexon Account, did that.
Then I linked my PS5 account, then my Steam and my Xbox
THEN I linked my Twitch account.
Switched to Playing on Steam, played there since.

Been playing fine and just checked my PS5 now to see and was able to log in and no loss of progression.

I did it with my Xbox. I made a nexom account and linked my gamer tag. Log into the game on steam first then when I log into the game on xbox I got a bunch of achievements and all my characters are there.

I specified the order because some are saying if you log into the account 1st that has less progress then the other will be the same. So let say you had 100hrs on pc and link the ps5 and log in there first then both accounts would be starting over.

Some say unlinking brought it back some said it didn't. I did mine when I hadent spent money on the game yet so I didn't care I was up to making bunny. In my case both my toons were there on my xbox.

Ik it was a bit more than asked but didn't want anyone having to deal with that issue if it's still an issue

That is only for one game… (First Descendant)

Cross save and cross progression between ps5, Xbox and pc works fine for me. Ofc you need to link nexon account

Yes you can link both your pc aka Steam account and PS5 to the same account via Nexon's website but you will need to link your Steam account first and then link your PS5 to that account and from there it will take everything from your pc to your console.
