- Do not use DLSS/FSR and any sub-options to it (its broken and doesnt work as intended)
- Do Not Use Ray Tracing
- Cap Your Frames to 60 FPS (anything higher than that your just asking for heating issues and just wasting extra memory on frames that will cause visual problems)
FYI I have a 4070Ti. I can run unlimited frame rate, but I cap at 60FPS because the CPU Temps start inching towards 90C, but capping at 60FPS I barely go above 63C-67C and no visual artifacting. Another reason why I never go with the first gen of GPU's either, always wait for the Ti series to drop because they fix most of the issues from the base line GPU's.
The problem is that the dlss frame generator turns off and on every time you go to the menu/map/esc, open any user interface, this creates a 1 second freeze and PERMANENTLY +30MB to VRAM every time the generator is reactivated.
It’s extremely easy to reproduce: just turn on the generator in the settings and press ESC hundreds of times for 5 minutes, all your VRAM, RAM and FPS will be destroyed
I am very serious on it.
Only fix is to reboot the game.
