WARNING: MEMORY LEAK
For some reason after the patch I get my VRAM usage from 4GB at launch to 11GB after some hours of gameplay forcing me to hard restart the game (alt+f4) because of performance (from 160 fps to less than 10 when I reach max VRAM).
I got a RTX 4070 Super with 12GB VRAM

First off, unless you did the Intel CPU fix with their tool underclocking it...

- Do not use DLSS/FSR and any sub-options to it (its broken and doesnt work as intended)
- Do Not Use Ray Tracing
- Cap Your Frames to 60 FPS (anything higher than that your just asking for heating issues and just wasting extra memory on frames that will cause visual problems)

FYI I have a 4070Ti. I can run unlimited frame rate, but I cap at 60FPS because the CPU Temps start inching towards 90C, but capping at 60FPS I barely go above 63C-67C and no visual artifacting. Another reason why I never go with the first gen of GPU's either, always wait for the Ti series to drop because they fix most of the issues from the base line GPU's.

happens here too, after some time, fps drops to 5-10fps. alt-tabbing seems to work for a minute so i have 100 fps again but then it jumps down to 10 fps. I have a RTX 4070 TI...

Turn off DLSS Frame generator, its bugged.
The problem is that the dlss frame generator turns off and on every time you go to the menu/map/esc, open any user interface, this creates a 1 second freeze and PERMANENTLY +30MB to VRAM every time the generator is reactivated.
It’s extremely easy to reproduce: just turn on the generator in the settings and press ESC hundreds of times for 5 minutes, all your VRAM, RAM and FPS will be destroyed:poop:

Oh so we found out what was the issue even before devs could realize that the game has a memory leak. Great now we know how to deal with it until they fix it. Thank you for your testing!

seem to have this with my 6950XT as well. Latest drivers. Considering DDU'in and reinstalling the drivers to see if it could be a bit of a conflict with old driver version.

Having the same issue. 30 minutes in game will start having huge frame drop from 60fps to 14 fps. Have to restart the game every 30 minutes is annoying. Turning off frame generation fixed the problem been playing 2 hours straight without frame drop.

Yeah they definitely broke Frame Gen even more in hotfix 1.0.2. Hopefully the developers can fix it soon.

Don't know if this help, i didn't touch the display option and video, i can play for hours without loss of FPS or memory leak. Dunno why, i'm on an Rx 6750 RT and a ryzen 5 5600X, dunno if this could help. Maybe it's just a problem with Nvidia drivers ?

I have this too, just to mass confirm that this is a thing.
Only fix is to reboot the game.
