What does the max high power rounds stat do?
It doesn't seem to do anything. Got a module that increases it by 25%, and decreases movement speed. Doesn't seem to do anything, does it make the ammo drop more often?

Doesn't seem to change it in the practice tool.

9/5 with my current sniper. With the module, it doesn't change even when replenishing it to full. The module should grant +1.3 maximum ammo.

Doesn't do it one of my shotguns either. 5 carried no matter what; is it bugged?

I thought it increased the drop rate 25%, the more you know.

I think it is supposed to do that, it doesn't seem to increase magazine size, or maximum stored ammo.

All it is doing is reducing my movement speed rn lol

Increases the max stack size of the ammo, which for high-impact is a BIG deal, but the fact its a tiny 20 max to start with, even 40% increase only brings that 20 to 28 and for things like the shotty = still running around without ammo. They need to make the launcher its own ammo and give the shoty+sniper like 80 max stake default.

For sure, or they need to buff the crit chance on all snipers to 75% instead of 50% or give them a base x3 weak point damage.

Crit Chance seems woefully underpowered unless you got a maxed out build. In the early areas, tactical rifles seem like the best crit chance weapons with a decentish base you can get them 30-40% easy, and go hard with a few of them.

Late Areas, snipers kind of go soft cause of lack of ammo. With double max high power rounds, you can do pretty good, but you run out of ammo fast, and your DPS drops while you snipe heavily.

Building Weak Point is much better for snipers when they have a base 50% just feels bad man. :(

That is where Hand Cannons and Tac Rifles come out better for crit+weakspot dmg maxing over snipers. Plus snipers have insane zoom lvls making anything short of across the map shorts not doable.

Personally, I use a sniper mostly for the Zoom. I can easily zoom into the heads of enemies quite easily from mid range. For bosses I swap over for Shotguns, and melee ping weak spots for huge damage.

Some bosses harder for this strat, but you run out of ammo too fast.
