Kicked to Menu (Error Code NE:1000)

Last update is causing constant kicks to the Main Menu.

It's really not a great feeling spending 40 minutes in a mission to then lose all of that progress. I've talked with multiple people who are getting this same error when playing on current-gen consoles, Steam Decks, and other medium-to-low tier computers.

My main PC just bricked itself, so now I'm using my backup Steam Deck. The game runs just fine (at 30FPS), so I hope this issue gets fixed soon.

On an unrelated note, farming for Valby's Code Relic is the same as living in Spain (without the S).

UPDATE: I am no longer living in Spain (without the S), but I'm still getting kicked to the menu very often. Boss fights work fine, but I have to do almost everything else solo if I want to actually complete the missions.

Not a connection problem. I'm using the same wired connection that was being used by my main PC (before it got bricked), and that PC never had the error code.

I suspect it's caused by performance issues that arise when too many actions are being taken by multiple players and NPC entities.

I would just chalk it up to the Steam Deck being limited by it's hardware, but I have multiple friends who are receiving the same error code on their PS5s (None on Xbox, because Xbox>>>Gaystation. Yes, the console wars still LIVE ).

It's also possible that there's a memory leak. It doesn't happen for awhile upon first loading up the game. But if you get kicked to the menu and re-enter, then it will likely kick you again much sooner. I've been finding it best to just fully restart after the first error instance.

Its not us, its their servers. I have sent a ticket in on july 2nd and they just closed it with out saying a word....

1000 is a disconnect error I think due to sync issue. Using any software that monitor or use network traffic, like A/V or bandwidth monitor or streaming software or whatever? Maybe it's messing you up... Can also try disabling crossplay.
