But i have watched the video, and let me ask you this. You say it's more than just upgrading weapons, but why does your weapon only uses 29 out of 50 module capacity? Why does your lvl40 Viessa only has 1K health?????? Despite having half-cost discounted HP slot?? And why does she have no Cold resistance despite the dude explicitly saying to equip 1700 res??? And why do you have Technician equipped??? despite not using any damaging skills????
You will get stuck on the next boss if these questions aren't addressed. timer or not
Up until this point, I was using the "auto" function they have in the game to auto-select mods.
The reason the descendant is current built like that is because I manually selected mods and started upgrading them, but the grind for resources is long an tedious. I can grind until my inventory is full, only get like 20k in resources out of it, and one leveling one mod by one level can cost 25K alone.
My descendant having boosted skills is not the issue. If you watched the video, you would know that it is why I got the clear. The skill doesn't help do damage to the boss directly, but it does let me focus on the boss more.
How does that work? It let me one shot the adds, and it let me drop her AoE over time skill, and just sit in the middle of it, so I could ignore the adds and focus fire on the boss.
Again, you are trying to nitpick the stuff that worked, by telling me to do the stuff that did not work for me. It is just ridiculous.
Game is designed around farming and grinding, not ready to farm for an hour and level up your mods or adjust weapon to break through the wall you encounter ? i guess this isnt your type of game then
I know it's not the only fight, dear. Thankfully for you, i beta tested the game and devourer used to be the wall where people got stuck. Now it's much easier for people with low DPS as long as they work as a team. Whereas dead bride is more DPS focused and positioning above all.
Rockfall is good to farm, assuming you're doing it in hard mode.

In all regards, the amount of grinding needed to beat raid bosses in levelling content is far too much. The advice to do them solo is kinda silly in an online multiplayer game, where people expect and want to play with other people. The bosses in the levelling content should be tuned to the gear players reasonably have at that point of the story. It's fine if endgame - meaning hard mode - bosses are challenging and need some proper grinding, but the HP of the levelling phase bosses are way, way too high and should be cut down by quite a lot - especially on bosses like devourer where parties really suffer if people didn't grind properly to get through his invincibility phase without him regenerating back to full health.
our first boss ever we failed at like 2% health because the timer kicked off. private queue, just the two of us. we like to have to earn that survival. trial by fire. go in blind and learn it. thats how you get the experience. thats how you even have experiences.
that first boss fight until the timer made us sad, was quite the learning experience. it wasn't until that we fully understood how ammo and mana regen works in this game lol.
its ok if a few bosses have enrage timers. but that shouldn't be an instant fail because of some dumb clock. you can still overcome enrage sometimes. no war this planet has experienced thusfar has just ended because it went on too long.
destiny 2 leviathan raids that took *hours* because someone was learning to get good from the rest of us.
This to me is what game should be about, i.e. making new friends and having fun doing what we all love best, i.e. gaming, not having to ether spend an insane amount of time and energy into grinding to get what you need, now do not get me wrong, doing a some grinding is fine as it is part of the game experience, but only having two choices, i..e. spend shed loads of cash buying everything you need (where is the fun in that) or spend shed loads of time grinding and yes if it takes 30 mins to kill the boss then so be it just as long as I can kill it and move on.
Well *Acktually, pushes glasses up on nose ridge*. It's call "WAR OF ATTRITION" And there have been many wars, major wars even that have been won and lost due to "went on too long."
