My Stats (times) on trying to get Ultimate Bunny Enhanced Cells Blueprint

[update 8/5/2024 5:29pm] Well, i've done a lot of farming since bunny, but, it's taken many hours, but today i was finally able to get the code for two more descendants and start the research on them: U-Valby and Lepic.

Gotta say that it feels good to finally have something for all the farming. Well, I will have to gear up some more, but on to another descendant farming.

note: all this farming pays off in the long run bc i have loads of resources now. (except for organic and inorganic shards. i tried the pyro hard route for u-valby, but since the update, i couldn't finish it; i beat twice before the update and now have tried thrice and it fails. that's the reason i went outpost 6% vs 10%?? anyway good luck to all

[update 7/24/2024 7:55am] Finally got the blueprint drop in another 10 tries. So, 60 tries total around 7 hours. Looks like the next blueprint is going to take longer since only 50% drop and is a defense run and needs around 7 waves.

[update 7/23/2024 17:13] 10 more runs....and guess what? Nope, didn't get it. So...I'm at 50 runs. This time I listened to With My Mind — Cold - from the game Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy...Well, I'm done..for now, anyway. I'll update if I ever get it.

[update 7/23/2024 15:31] 10 more runs and still nay nay. Also used stabilizer 3x (give 3% more chance for total of 6%) so...total of 40 runs. This time I used bunny and played Ally Nicholas and Amira Elfeky in headphones on loop. (if you like that kind of stuff, but i listen to all different type just came up on spotify)

[update 7/23/24 13:47] It would make sense to suggest to use the bunny since you can use her turbo to get through the map quicker and her AOE is great. I was using Ajax 'cuz i was leveling him up after upgrading module capacity (put him back to level 1 from 40 after upgrading....case you didn't know that happens)



To start, this is my record of trying to get the Ultimate Bunny Enhanced Cells Blueprint.
(the keyword: trying - I still have not been able to get the drop after 30 runs)

Now, there is a 3% drop rate for this, which means a 1 in 30 chance. However, for all the probability nerds, please note that when dealing with probability, it is just that: the chance of an event happening. There's always (except for 100%) a variability associated with this chance (+/- some percent) in reality. In the best and worst-case scenarios, you could get the drop on the first run, or... never. Really, never is a reality. Each run is its own chance.

**My Runs:**

I believe there are different ways to get the two materials needed, but for the Amorphous Material (009), which is 100%, you need to run the Sterile Land (Normal): The Forgottenese. For the blueprint, I ran the Stunning Beauty, normal.

I ran the operation and then the infiltration consecutively since each infiltration run is its own chance, and you may get it on the first try. Some people suggest running the operation many times to fill up on the amorphous, but that became too monotonous for me, so I did one, then the other.

**What I Found:**

In the best-case scenarios, where you are just running from start to finish in the operation and only stopping long enough to kill enough to further the waypoint, it took around 8 minutes. Most of my runs were just that: just running to the boss because when I spawned in, everyone else was already 50 to 75% of the way.

For the infiltration run, I basically was running, shot maybe three rounds, and it was over; 2 minutes tops.

This put the total for both runs around 10 minutes on average.

I started counting on the 5th run at 9 am and got to the 30th try around 12:19 am. So probably around an hour or so for those first five runs (8 am ??) and puts the grand total for 30 runs around 4 hours and 19 minutes, and I still did not get the blueprint.

**Extra:**

To save time, I used shortcuts for getting around the area in the operation. In case you are not aware of what some of these are, I'll mention a couple here. There are probably a dozen more that I saw others using.

First, jump down the first pit just to the right of the waterfall and then either grapple to the ledge or double jump before you drop by it, then grapple to prevent the long landing (though, if you grapple on the ground at the right height, you don't need to worry).

Second, this is common sense, but you'll be surprised how many people don't do it: STAY IN THE BLUE CIRCLE if you don't have the three (??) bars, otherwise, it will take longer (slower - though I didn't time it, I've seen posts stating it does). You don't have to kill adds; just enough to stay alive, and once it hits 100%, run to the next waypoint.

Now, this is for speed runs, but if there's someone new, I would not speed run if it looked like they were picking up stuff and wanting to shoot everything - be courteous to other players! I hated when I started out, looking around at the scenery, learning the layout, picking up stuff, and wanting to kill everything, then all of a sudden... teleport. Anyway, you be you. Just my thoughts on that.

There are other places where you have to grapple and double jump and stuff that would be too difficult to describe. There are enough players doing that so just watch other players that use these shortcuts to traverse the areas. You'll be amazed at how much time and distance you can save.

Lastly, a couple of hints in case you didn't know. You don't have to go to the Sterile map to run the operations; you can grab it in Albion to the left of the entrance. Also, after teleporting back to Albion from the operations, use the Map to select the infiltration run (bottom left of map) instead of running to Seneca (forgot his name) to start it.

Well, that's it. In the time some people work a part-time shift, I wasted four hours trying to get just ONE of FOUR blueprints. I guess, if you can afford it, it may be cheaper to just buy it in the long run because to get all four is going to take some serious time, and I'm not sure if I want to spend my time speed running through the maps just to get an ultimate. Maybe someday they'll go on sale when they have released enough of them.

This is the part that also drops with #113 (10%). I'm about 30 tries into that and despite using some form stabilizers, I have gotten everything except the cells. Honestly, it doesn't make me want to spend money, it makes me want to stop playing.

I don't know my stats exactly for this. HOWEVER, I can guess what they were:
Blueprint: Got it first try
Spiral Catalyst: Took me maybe like, 5-10 tries? Got it the same day as the Blueprint.
Stabilizer: Got it after like, 6 hours straight of farming for it.
Enhanced Cells: This took me like, 3 days. I got so tired of grinding the Vespers outpost that I went and did the Enhanced Cells one for a change of pace, lol. Then after I got the Cells, came back for hours, got tired, and gathered all of the other materials I needed (Biometal, Energy Residue, etc), and finally game back to grind it out. I got it on LITERALLY the last attempt I was going to do for the night at 3am before I went to bed.

I want you to look at me. When I say 3 days, I mean these were like 3-4pm - 3am grind sessions with a few breaks and stuff in between. (Like going to farm the Stabilizer & other mats) Around 10 hours each day on my days off. That Catalyst is cursed. I HATE Pattern 073.

For me I got the BP, cells and spiral catalyst real easy without really trying for them. The stabilizer though I am struck on and have been farming for 2 or 3 days.

Main problem I am having is getting the stupid patters #24 and or 99 to drop.....24 is stuck in stupid long albion defense missions which has not been dropping it much for me and the other behind a infiltration but I don't have a sharon so,,, I can't just log i and farm that like I want.

Just look more carefully at the different ways to get it

please only farm in hard mode this is ridiculous most of bunnies drops in hard mode at 20% chances

and even the ones that arent are from some of the easiest and fastest farmed missions in the game please wait till hard mode to get bunny or any of the ult characters

i thought i would try normal for lepic since his is a 6%, well, i have spent more time in just trying to get his code (all i need) then farming bunny. time to change to hard mode and justify the time i've spent farming this in normal. i will never do that again and hopefully, going to hard will help. thx for the reminder :) [note: i only have the code for u-valby and was doing hard on her, but after over 60 tries cracking the code (even about 8 of 'em at 10%, didn't happen and is why i took a break and went to normal for lepic since he was non-ult so thought it would be easier...or funner and not having to worry about dying. anyway. thx]

You should use the Access Info tab then Amorphous Materials section to search for what you want and see which ones have it at the highest rates. That doesn't mean not ever doing Normal again, though. Many of the Ultimate weapons have pieces with 38% drop chance in Normal, which has both easier outposts/operations and easier reactor/intercept bosses.
