Took Warframe for granted (after 100 hours in TFD)

Playing this game with Warframe back and forth, in the end I realized, Warframe gold rarity prime parts are much easier to get than 3% anything from Amorphous pattern. I used to complaint about Warframe's relic refinement system because it doesn't help, you can even crack a relic to get gold rarity prime parts, if you're lucky enough and blessed by RNG. Listed on Warframe wiki, the drop rate for gold rarity part is 2%.

I've tried to open 25 Amorphous patterns for that 3% Ult Bunny part and didn't get any, got burnt out and went back to Warframe. Tried to crack open 10 Axi P7 for Protea Prime Chassis and I got it without refinement. I love grindy game, I have 6k (according to Steam, not ingame, maybe 5k-ish) hours on Warframe already and the spirit to grind is still strong. Back to TFD on 100 hours felt disheartened because of it's extremely random drop rates. Yesterday I'm finally done with Thunder Cage unique ability enhancement because 20% drop rate for the other parts are legit but the blueprint is not. I lost count how many tries to get 3 blueprints.

For Energy Activators and Crystallization Catalyst, I'm trying really hard to not use them, only for Ultimate Weapon and Tamer for now. Not because of their drop rate, but the materials and gold for it. Some of the materials needed are inside those Encrypted Vault and you need Code Analyzers that are pretty rare, too. The Warframe counterpart, Orokin Reactor/Catalyst and Forma, you can get them pretty easily, from Nightwave and relic runs. Materials used to create them are not that hard to get, too. I'm waiting to get an Ultimate descendant to use Energy Activators, but I don't know when I can do it.

This game is Warframe but pretty and stressful.

Yeah the game play loop is 100x better in warframe. This game definitely tries to mimic warframe but amazingly fails in pretty much everything it tries to mimic. This game will be dead in 2 months or so. Nothing about it is interesting. The story is horrid. Next thing Nexon is gonna do is start charging for dialogue skips lmao.

And yes you are taking WF for granted. Not many dev is as good with players as WF did.

What are you talking about? Warframe devs were caught lying to players plenty.

I recommend waiting until hard mode to farm ultimate descendants. 3% is very low and would demoralize anyone after farming it for awhile. The chances are much better in hard. Take breaks and go back to it when you feel up to it.

They one that annoyed me the most was lying about coptering.

Listen, I still have nightmare from the time I farmed Frost Prime ...
(for real, when I try to go past 20 waves in a defence mission I get anxious).

edit: trying to farm Ultimate Ajax is givin' me the "same beautyful experience" but for outposts ...

Yeah, I'll do that. I feel getting smaller and smaller whenever farming Amorphous, shards , Collosi and return with nothing. Would take a break awhile maybe before Luna arrives.

Yeah they hyped railjack as some sort of "cohesive content" where groups doing stuff on planets would affect groups doing railjack missions (and viceversa ... if I remember correctly).

But it ended being just another "content island".
It's kinda a slow, boring and unrewarding experience (plus the inside of spaceships don't match their outside ... as in "dimensions", the insides are waaaaay bigger ... something that would happen in a Harry Potter's book but ,normally, shouldn't in "science fiction").

Strongly dissagree. I collected almost all characters here, but in Warframe only one Volt would took me 100 hours at very least. Non-prime frames grind can make anyone miserable.
