> free paints are accessible as long as you haven't used them yet. A number next to the paint shows how much you have. If you remove that paint, it can be used on all characters.
And this is certainly a bug or misunderstanding of the mechanic.
Its a fkn weird and unnecessary system, especially when there isnt even a real black color, im not kidding, no black lol.
It can always get worse. I've seen developers simply shutdown the feature to stop players' whining. And with the dyes costing pennies - the devs are likely very close to the threshold of removing them from the game completely
Is what I hear... it is not that expensive and you have a lot of freedom to work around...
If they added permanent colours for every skin you own the colour would've been a lot more expensive...
I would worry more about the colour presentation being nice in the menu but terrible in world... or the missing colours like black and the not able to color parts.
The one time use is the rip-off here.
And also that you can only use it for one slot. Like if I want to color my skin and my headgear, I need two colors. This is shady and anti consumer.
There is no problem. This is people making up a problem. Just because perhaps some other game let you buy a skin colour (GW2 for example) and you can use it infinitely, it doesn't suddenly mean every other game has to follow suit.
The skin paints are stupidly cheap. It's only an issue if you're indecisive and wan't to re-custom every other minute.
If I ask to get a wall painted in a single room for one price, and then suddenly decide that I want it a different colour, it's going to cost me again.
I swear, gamers are some of the most whiney and cheapest people I know.
I spent €30 on skins just for the visual pleasure of the game. I found out you can change the color whenever you want, which is cool for customizing your skin. After buying some nicer colors with Bunny (because I was doing missions with her at the time), I switched to my main character, Viessa, only to find that the paint was gone. There’s no need to beat around the bush; it’s just a scam. As I said, the description clearly states it would work with all characters. So yeah, I’m complaining, and I have every right to.
I got a skin cuz I played the game for a ♥♥♥♥ ton of time by now and Im totally in to support devs so they can keep going and improve the game, but that doesnt change the fact that stuff in this game is horribly overpriced and I will not spend a lot of money due to that. I spend couple hundred in WF up to this point cuz it's made very very fair, and even the community artists who made the skins get 30% of the revenue. But I dont feel good to give a company money that obviously try to scam me in the shop at every single corner, that just doesnt feel right.
I wouldn’t have been able to try a color on another character if I didn’t have at least 2 skins.
I’ll be talking to my credit card about this:
Bunny Albion 750 Caliber
Viessa Bloody Rose 750 Caliber
1000 + 60 19.99
500 + 20 9.99
Nice try, though.
