Give me something to do in Hard Mode other than mindless grinding

Overall, I love the game but I seem to have run out of things to do. Basically, all I seem to be doing is farming for things I NEVER get to drop. And just about every dam farm-able thing seems attached to a reactor. Even without the 5 minute wait, it's the same grind with a different backdrop for EVERYTHING. The only other thing I seem to do is grind to reach level 40 for the 100th time because I just upgraded something. I mean literally, nothing I am farming for, out of 20 things or more, has dropped once since I reached Hard Mode. And if something were to drop, it's like 30 seconds of excitement, then back to grinding. In other words there seems no higher purpose to all that grinding other than getting something new and go back to the grinding with the new thing. Yet, somehow I am having fun. But I am worried that won't last much longer.

That's what grinding games are though.
You set out to get something, eventually get it, then move on to the next thing.

I've played Warframe/WoW a lot and that's all there is, a grind to get something you want and move on. It's a good time waster when you only have like 30 minutes or an hour to play and don't feel like getting caught up in something.

facts, was grinding for gley blue prints finally got it thinking it was the hardest thing and now i have to farm some aluminum something or another which is a monster drop that sometimes drops out of the map! noiice and even better still i need a bunch and only one drops per run. pssshhhh was exciting at first but now i just feel defeated.
