I got mine at least from Intercepts.
Another good idea will be to do hard colosses and reroll mods.
I constantly got cold-blooded from the farming the first hard boss for a decendent piece.
Not sure why they hide this on the "World Map" section of options.
But hit Esc, Go to World Map, At the top click on Acquisition Info.
Click on Module
Filter by Transcendent
Type the word Cold.
Press F over the Coldbloodedness and it'll give you a bunch of locations you can farm this.
A lot of mods drop from Echo Swamp farm. They drop semi-regularly from hard mode dungeons (boss or completion) and hard intercepts.
If you're doing the catalyst/activator farm of Sepulcher -> Devourer for example you'll get a heap of red mods to use and combine into more.
By that I mean they gotta build in some fixed pity drop guarantee after X number of tries.
You're going to get the overwhelming majority of mods just by playing naturally and while grinding for other important drops like descendant parts, weapons, gold/kuiper and mats for catalysts/activators.
Do not go out of your way to target farm mods unless you already have everything else you wanted/needed at the moment sorted out and happen to get a break while waiting out research timers.
It's the same exact philosophy with kuiper/gold farming, it's vastly more efficient and less burnout-prone to double up on activities and get those currencies while at the same time gathering important parts, amorphous, shapes and whatnot, in the process.
In this case I don't think you mean modules, which then all I can say is tough luck, RNG is a pain... and this game really could use a pity system. But all know that by now and know what we signed up for.
