AMD FSR 3.0 Visual Quality, It needs to be fixed
It's pretty obvious that AMD FSR3.0 Upscaler Quality is blurry mess compared to NVIDIA DLSS Upscaler. Well, FSR3 Native AA doing ok in terms of overall image quality but FSR3 Quality preset runs like Ultra-Performance mode and makes the game way blurrier unexpectedly. I have tested FSR3 in lots of games but this is absolutely terrible. Please fix this because we want to get more performance with a reasonable visual quality or bring the AMD FSR 3.1 Update so that we can be able to use the ''Decoupled Frame Generation'' with DLSS Quality on our RTX 20/30 series GPUs.

You know there's also a sharpen settings. FSR works great too.

I also tried the Sharpen setting but it doesn't compensate the Quality mode's visual mess. FSR3 Native AA with %40-50 sharpness seems fine but costs extra 10-15 FPS more compared to Quality preset. That's why it needs to be fixed because there is a day and night difference compared to NVIDIA DLSS Quality in this game and this wasn't supposed to be happen. Hope the devs fix this issue soon...

no blurry problems with fsr here, have you considered it being a nvidia problem perhaps?
only time i had issues was when they borked it for a day with a patch, was fixed next day with a hotfix, i run a rx6900xt so on amd native hardware it seems to work

I got no problem with FSR3 Native AA's visual quality but Quality preset looks way blurry compared to NVIDIA DLSS Quality. Running on a RTX 3060 12GB here by the way.. If the EAC wasn't here in this game, I would have already used a mod to use the DLSS with FSR3 Frame Gen but unfortunately I can not do that that's why I'm waiting for the official support...

Just increase the sharpness in Display; it looks great on the Steam Deck.

I already did that, it works fine with FSR3 Native AA but no luck for FSR3 Quality, I mean you will understand what I'm trying to mean when you look at the character's clothes and face.. Shimmering effects on the ground objects included..

It doesn't look good, it doesn't perform well, frame gen is broken for a lot of people but even if it did work it adds too much latency. Something went wrong here and if you searched the forums you would find a host of such complaints.

So for the thousandth time just use another feature. The ice cream machine is broken, okay? You have to order something else.

AMD upscaling seems to be off, I don't like it. I'm having far better results using the built-in "Epic Games" upscaler that gives me far more juice & the image looks much better :mhwgood:

The AMD upscaling really seems worse. I would rather use dynamic resolution than using the AMD one.

Good thing the game offers so many more options than AMD.

*AMD FSR - Surprisingly, very bad. In both image quality and performance. The image is very blurry and performance didn't increase that much.
*Intel XeSS - Very good quality image but also tank performance the most. I have an AMD graphics card so I think it might not play well with Intel XeSS.
*Epic TSR - Very good performance out of all 3 options. The image is better than AMD FSR and has good performance. It might not look very best but that is what I normally use.

I use 'Ultra Performance' in all of the upscaling options to determine the performance and image quality.

Frame Gen feels quite smooth for me, using with FSR3 Native AA + NVIDIA Reflex for now with optimized settings, getting like constant 100 FPS+ on RTX 3060 12GB on 1080p Ultra + Low Global Illumination + Medium Objects + Med Shadows but still I will be waiting for a decent FSR3.1 Update or a visual quality fix..

What do you mean fixed ? I you want FSR to be "fixed" you should talk to AMD my man,not developers implementing this. They have little control over this, FSR is as it is,and its up to AMD to release better less blurrier versions.

i mean dlss quality isn't equal to fsr quality just because the presets have the same names, it's 2 different technologies that work and perform in different ways under different circumstances,

just played a bunch of hours with fsr on quality no problems at all on my rig
