There are 2 types of HP recovery, and none are natural recovery. The Outgoing Recovery and Increase Safe Recovery. Outgoing Recovery (or HP Recovery) is healing that you give out to others. Increase Safe Recovery (IIRC, it is an HP recovery modifier or something) will increase any HP recovery you receive. Including HP cube drop from the monster.

As Monk stated, HP Recovery in this game boosts the amount of health you recover when you pick up health packs or someone heals you. HP Heal boosts the amount of healing you do to others. There is no passive HP regeneration for us.
