Rework postive + positive mods
for some reason positive + positive mods often times when upgraded the secondary positive feature is never increased. for example : +10% Skillpower , ( -6% Cooldown ) Cooldown's positive effect will not increase when you upgrade the mod though skill power will continue to increase. HOWEVER IF THE MOD HAS A NEGATIVE IT WILL ALWAYS GET MORE NEGATIVE AS IT INCREASES ... for example: +14% Defense , ( -5% MP ) and you increase the mod capacity the negative feature will get worse. This is by definition unbalanced.

You don't get it. It is intentional and is part of balancing it. You just don't like it.

And man you have a lot of rapid fire threads...it's ok.

The ones with a negative have far larger positive gains as a point if balance vs those with no secondary or a positive secondary effect.

Honestly, it makes perfect sense.

The reason it works that way, is because it is jsut additive. Pay attention to the type of mod that it is. Let's say HP is what you're looking for? Well, time distribution, HP amplification and HP increase will get you 440%. Time distribution will also get you -14% cool down, but it stacks with the other stuff.

Some of those stats are just there as bonus and start inherently higher than normal.

It's one thing to upgrade and the benefits not be as high , sure. makes sense. It's another thing entirely to upgrade and the upgrade not ... well , UPGRADE(?) I get not being as big of an increase but not increasing at all is a slight.

How is it? It's not like it's a surprise that it doesn't increase.

It's a disappointment.

That doesn't mean it is unbalanced. You just don't like it.

It's common for games to penalize you if you want more power. There are layers to things. Not all skills are equal. A lot of things have been considered. Learning to manipulate things the way you need is part of building your character. That means offsetting negatives or playing around with them.

After you do it long enough you won't blink twice at scenarios like this.

That suggests you upgraded it and didn't look to see nothing changed.

It's called balance, it's one of the few areas the devs actually dud it well.

I respect your opinions.
