Energy Activators

These with the catalyst farming is what is making me want to quit this game.

Also the fact that the Ultimate versions of characters don't carry over the progression you put into the basic counterparts. Bad design. The ultimate version should just be a regular upgrade since their base stats are vastly improved.

The parts take too long to grind, are linked to boring quests or rely on 5-6% drop chances at best. I don't get why anyone wants to play this game because unlocking a weapons potential takes so long and relies on small rng changes. Right now people only make 1-2 weapons and this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ design because you can't play around with multiple weapons.

I'm sure you guys will defend it because this is an MMO. Is it really? When most content is soloe'd and only 1-2 characters are viable for all of the content? You have nothing but 4 man parties. No this isn't an MMO. This is a lobby game. Boring, boring and boring. Fact that support characters are completely ignored for healing and are behind time gated grinds means you won't see them at all and because making them good requires you to grind even more takes all the fun out of this game for me. There are so many beginner traps laid in this game and the fact that to use money to buy an ultimate character you have to pay 50 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bucks. Absurd design.

i'm really interesting to find out how much people will put up with this rates after the hype is gone. i mean there's nothing else to do apart from grinding. no body is here for the storyline or some deep revelations.

im here to blast things. was actually looking for a silly game to blast things with people online, then this came out.

having fun so far. i havent fell into the trap of "go grind this for 100000 hours". the things just drop naturally

like im spending a couple hours outposts right now. after im done ill go do missions or something idk. i dont get why people spend 999999 hours trying to get 1 item when it will still be there tomorrow

EDIT: 7 activators and 14 catalysts in my inventory waiting to be made and they will sit there until i need em i guess lol. gold more valuable to me

Well, they do use Warframe systems so it is understandable they didn't carry over. But in Warframe they have Helminth and subsume. So after you level up your normal version you can subsume them (you cannot subsume Primed/Ultimate version).

About Energy Activator, in early Warframe they didn't even have Catalyst/Reactor drop in the game. They sometimes give it out as an event reward, but that's it. Right now, Warframe has many ways to get Catalyst/Reactor. I hope TFD will also make alternative ways to get those energy activators, like exchanging them for one a week or something.

180+ hrs for me, only 2 activators and about 4 catas self-farmed. good lord that's a good amount, you've been blessed or i have terrible luck lol

This, my Smithereens and Enzo farm got me a bunch of activator and catalyst BPs.

The game is about grinding not sure why people are tunnel visioning on builds or trying to get to whatever the finish line is supposed to be.

pretty similar amounts for me as well just less reactors but formas and reactors are really easy to farm in hard mode

At first, i thought the same, but than i chose to not waste the activators for each character. I catacht actual 10 descendants and i will invest an activator only for ultimates, because i want them. My first is ready in an our. It makes for me no sense, to use an activator for a descendant i dont realy play, same counts for weapons. I farmed as normal primary for descendants and i have craftet 2 activaters and could craft 6-7 others. You get the bluprints by just playing, same counts for the catalyst. Dont forget, you don't have to waste these items for each weapon and descendant, just on your favorits. You dont need all at its best.
