Dev Talk│Director's comment regarding Strategic Oupost
Greeting Descendants.
This is the Director of The First Descendant, Minseok Joo.
I wish to share the Dev’s opinion regarding our recent issue, so called “Valby Run”.
Valby Run; Strategic Outpost farming using Valby, is currently taking place at the Outpost within The Fortress, was certainly not intended. Due to our systematic mistake, Mobs at The Fortress Outpost have been respawning infinitely. And as a result, the amount of item drop has increased 2~3 times higher than that of other popular locations.
To maintain our game, and to be adored by our players for a long time, we believe that it is wrong to just look on and leave the unbalanced content, which is providing biased rewards.
However, as Valby Run became popular very quickly within our community, we assume many players have researched Valby to enjoy the newly discovered content. The current issue has occurred clearly by our own mistake, but we do not wish to suddenly remove it. Because it has already become a solid content of TFD.
So, we would like to inform you, that we’re preparing a patch without completely blocking The Fortress Outpost issue and to keep allowing the players to enjoy playing like before. However, at the same time, we will update other farming locations to match the efficiency, equivalent to The Fortress Outpost.
Although we’ve insisted that no additional patch will be necessary next week, we have been preparing a new hotfix (patch 1.0.4) prioritized to apply improvements, so that we could finalize the Week 5 development schedule. The main purpose for patch 1.0.4 is to reduce the cool time for Vulgus Strategic Outpost and rebalance the locations for collecting Void Fragments. Also, we’re planning to diversify methods for Gold supply by enhancing Gold efficiency within Special Operations.
As we continue our live service for The First Descendant, we have no plan to respond by simply nerfing certain content, for any game play which collides with our intentions. We respect every content created by our players and will do our best to create a game that all players can enjoy together for a long time.
We appreciate your endless feedback and interest to our game and will endeavor to provide a better gaming environment that will fulfill your expectations. Thank you.

tl;dr -> We are preparing 1.0.4 patch to make farming efficiency of Fortress Outpost similar to that of other popular farming sites.
Thats what happens when devs make the most brain dead activity the best way to farm everything.
Instead of making dungeons, bosses, defense etc rewarding. It's a dev problem. Not playermade. They have to tweak numbers.
I agree on some of that. I also think dungeon rewards should be way higher. I dont realy understand why we are forced into more boring missions to farm gold/kuiper, who thought that's a good idea.
i got almost 14 milion gold and dunno what to do with it.

Just because there is a spot that is bonkers in farming something, doesn't mean there aren't any other alternatives to it.
also, its just a farm for gold/kuiper 2 resources that become very obsolete quickly. fragment crystals and amorphous material are the real end game grind
Also, you'll come to every thread and say the same thing?
tldr - they aware and will be making tweaks in the future, as for next patch it will be to address the cooldowns on outposts. tweaks over nerfs yeehaw.
I don't have Valby either, but honestly I don't care, I am playing, and farming in my own pace, it's pretty pitiful that others having fun is bothersome to you
Gold is pretty much useless. Yyou drop so much more gold than you need during normal gameplay (not running circles with bunny or valby stuff needed).
