False drop rate? I hope is not like that
I think they should fix the drop rate of objects (in this case amorphous), for the simple fact that the 25.0% that appears in the description does not correspond to the real drop rate, at least for my part I feel like I'm trying. to get an amorphous that has a 25.0% drop but actually feels like it's 1%, I love these types of farming games, but how is it possible that they give me modules with a 5% drop chance ( I get them constantly, I already have like 10 copies of each module, which I then change for kuiper) instead of an amorphous one that has a fixed drop of 25.0%? It seems totally absurd to me, and that is one of the reasons why I really believe that the drop rate is not 25%, but 1%.

For me, the drop rate of Amorphous is 0.003%. 0.003%

yeah, I think the same thing the truth is, his fall is very, very bad

Oh, I have gotten a 3% drop item now 6 times, but the 40% item, not even once out of the same amorphous. The drop rates are NOT whats listed.
If you're talking about outposts and the infiltration amorph you need to be stealthy aka use Sharon to tun the points off without them noticing you.

Otherwise i'll just tell you it's probability. You're never guaranteed to get anything.
You can have a 99% chance to get something and try to get it a million times and still fail.
Is the probability of that happening bascially indescribably low? Yes.
Can it happen though? Yes

It is completely random. The chances might as well not even be there tbh.

You could put all 5 items to 20% and it wouldn't be any different.

Outpost materials(even the crafting material) being rng-based is just bad mechanic.

If they were set to 100% then you could do the outpost, go farm up some void shard(since the reactor is likely in same area and uses the shard from same area), open material, timer's gone, repeat.

I have been farming "73" for 30 runs, I got only 1... I even got the Stabilizer form 3 before the "73" hahaha The Stabilizer has like 0.5% to 3.5% there is no way :crtstressed:

It's like we're playing different games.

Or one of us has a fundamentally flawed understanding of probabilities.

Seems most people skipped out on their math classes. Almost like they were to busy playing games and complaining about their drop rate instead of learning how probability works in class ;)

Well let me tell you that even using sharen in the swamp echo they do not release the amorphs, I was farming for 4 hours and I have only gotten approximately 10 amorphs, and this was without sharen, with sharen I have not achieved anything.
If a game puts a drop percentage in the description, they have to make it count, it doesn't have to be random, because if so, they shouldn't put that "25%" in the description.

That's why in my main comment I say they are false drop rates.

hahaha, it's true bro, it's incredible that amorphous ones have such a low drop rate

You are arguing without understanding what chance and probability fundamentally means.
Are you under the assumption that you're guaranteed an amorph after doing outpost 4 times at a 25% chance?
What do you not understand that hasn't been explained already?

Maybe people don't expect to be that ~5.6% chance of 10rolls(5 runs stealth) all not giving a single drop? And this is on top of the fact that there will be another layer of rng when opening amoprhs?
