YEP, and thats the level of response u can expect from some genius "gamer" like you, lol
byyyyyyye ;) o/
Nope, it's legal to walk around naked in some areas. Even in plain view of children.
As I said to the OP, ask the government or the institution implementing the rating system. Customers here, know nothing as it's not their job or even truly cared about the details.
Versus the UK where you have to jump through hoops to even include real names for medicines and they get spooked by extreme violence games and outright ban them. Go ahead and try that. You're absolutely incorrect. "Some areas" meaning nude beaches? Sure. But again, go ahead and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ try this in most of the 50 States. Go on. I dare you.
Y'know what? I'm just going to stop this disinformation right here.

Pride parades for example. lol. Don't believe me? google it. World is stranger than fiction at times. Oh, the police says it's okay too.
There are many examples. Just google them. Public nudity's legal for some states.

A pride parade does not make the entire 50 States, nor is it even remotely appropriate for bringing up during a conversation about ratings between the UK and US.
Also, a reminder: Willful Indecent Exposure is a felony in most States. Do NOT do this because some rando online is saying it's okay, or tiktok encouraged it. Some protesters can get away with it, but all it takes is one prosecutor to not choose to dismiss the charges for your entire life to be ruined.
That's not the crux of the question. Nudity is legal, exposure is not for some states even when nudity is allowed. "Most" states is not "All" states.
My statement is "Nope, it's legal to walk around naked in some areas. Even in plain view of children." holds true.
Marvel Snap is rated PEGI 7 despite having gambling elements where real money can be involved.
PEGI sees only the types of activities done at casinos and such as gambling mechanics, and allows it in games for kids as long as it's not a literal roulette, black jack table, slot machine etc.
That is why even a game like Genshin Impact is rated just PEGI 12.
Every single Indecent Exposure law mentions "if there's potential for being offended". More over, in the states where Indecent Exposure is classified specifically as a felony, they MIGHT include a requirement for "for the purposes of sexual arousal". In every State that does that (a small number) they have "public decency" laws which are misdemeanors. So it's STILL illegal to do. More over, it's not a misdemeanor if done to someone that is 16 or younger.
We're talking about the differences in the US versus UK in ratings on video games. Even by your flawed logic, if "Most" States (with the most population to boot) have public indecency laws, then obviously the ESRB (and television) would follow the MOST agreed upon opinion.
This isn't new. This isn't shocking. You're simply outright lying. But go on. Tell me of the State that doesn't have these laws on the books, and where you can "expose" yourself to children and be fine. Go ahead.
What's the hell is wrong with you. Nudism is not deliberate exposure.
We're talking about the UK and US, again, in terms of their broadcast/video game ratings. The US has traditionally, compared to other countries, had far more stringent laws around exposure of the human body. This isn't a controversial take.
I pointed that out. You, instead, started talking about "Most states" not being "all states". And now that I'm calling you out on that, you're getting... what? Indignant? Upset? And yet still not giving me a Single State where its legal to do so?
Look man. You're giving the incorrect impression to people that might not know better. Indecent Exposure is a felony in most States. A felony is a permanent record. Permanent. Permanent. And it is nearly ALWAYS a felony when done around kids.
Do NOT make statements like yours without a single care as to who might read it. You could have said, "Exposure is alright in certain areas, certain events, colonies, or even your car."
...Yes, there's some flexibility about being naked in your own car. It's uh. Weird, and hasn't been properly taken to court...
But that's not what you said.
