This game is Age rated 12+ In the UK...

Why? The age rating in america is apparently 17+
So i think one side of this must be wrong here...

I am genuinely curious as to why the age rating is so different between our two countries and that the reasons for both age ratings clash with their respective reason.

For example, ESRB 17+ permits Intense blood/violence/gore, sexual content and/or strong language while PEGI 12+ permits slight violence towards fantasy characters or non realistic violence to humans as well as sexual innuendos/posturing and mild bad language.

I guess that cutscene with Jeremy was a little tough, but aside from those things, I see nothing a 12 year old wouldn't know how to deal with. The swearwords, while existent, are surely harmless compared to what a 12 year old hears and says at school.

Guess the worst part IMO was the suicide bombing but that's a bit mild. Though the missing arm was also a bit disturbing.

Wow, well if you really are stalk-ing my profile and looked at my posts then you should have realized that I simply find all this crybaby and non sense complaining from your generation ridiculous and boring. You guys cry all the time and for everything. These is justa a sci-fi fantasy game, nobody is dying really, u know? Is just a fake future fiction game, all right? Kids today see much worse things and play much worse games. And that is the parents' responsibility to manage. So if it doesn't work for you or your child, just don't play or don't let him play. Usually americans are easily shocked by the human body... where in europe nudity is pretty normal and not something u get shocked by.

Like when americans go to a swimming hall and see naked ppl bathing before going in... where americans wud be covered up in full medieval armor.

Ratings systems aren't really based on consistent thought. Maybe chicks with nice bodies is a problem for prude American rating groups. Maybe they don't like the idea that there are idealized bodies in it. There could be plenty of dumb reasons for why.
