If you already have enduring legacy, use that.
Keep in mind the massive difference in cost of rerolling the stats.
I suspect tamer works better when you have a char that can give flat crit chance.
But those are not straight up better since they require the weapon to be held(not just equipped).
And you can target farm reactors for ultimate weapons you want.
10% crit isn't a lot but it's a lot more relevant than 1-5%.
Enduring Legacy also has 1x weakspot dmg btw. It doesn't matter what the base weakspot modifier is as long as it's not below 1.0; you're getting the same % increases with weakspot mods.
I don't care if it is endgame or not, it has shredded everything put before it, even the pyromancer (Which is funny, cause you know, fire weapon.) and I quite enjoy feeling like rambo.
Slapping the sharp precision mod on a machine gun is a must (Imo) because once you have it maxed out, you expend all of that magazine in a few seconds with the fire rate increased by 20%, the recoil reduced by 40% and the fire arm attack increased by 60%.
Putting a lot of crit rate/damage modules absolutely abates the poor base crit rate and is 10000% worth building onto any weapon.
Especially compared to reload speed and mag size - both of which you won't feel as much.
The only debatable substitute for crit modules would be weak point modules.
