Does the game run on windows 10 enterprise

I have enterprise edition (cus I’m poor) and I’m getting that directx 12 error even though my system supports it. Enterprise edition has given me issues before like with voiceAI so I’m just wondering if anyone with enterprise is able to run the first descendant

what graphic card you have?. There are diferent "versions" of DX12. The actual dx12 comes with features the original dx12 didnt have, that is why some of the earlier dx12 cards are not compatible with newer games that relay on the lastest version of dx12.. Back then, they just added a .1 in the back of the api's name and call it a day.. now they call it dx12 when there are like 3 diferent sets of dx12 features....This game uses shader model 6.6, if you gpu does not have that, you are out of luck and need one that supports it.

I Have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970. It's better than nothing. How do I find out which dx12 I have?

Press the windows key and hold it then press "R" then release them at the same time.

You'll get a box that pops up that says run. Type "winver" into that box and hit enter. (winver, as in Win Ver, as in Windows Version.)

A new Window will pop up and tell you which info about your computer. The line that starts with Version and has "OS Build" in it is the info that they are asking for.

Enterprise should never give you issues in regards to this. It sounds like an issues with drivers TBH.

LTSC do not have normal Windows Updates and you are stuck in a build that does not support Agility SDK.
And since you also have Enterprise for some reason you can't easily upgrade.

You'll probably have to reinstall the entire OS just to get up to speed.

Enterprise is not the issue, LTSC is.

Users keep on using the wrong Windows branch for the wrong purpose on the wrong hardware and then get all confused why are modern DX12 games not running.

You can install and use Windows 11 legally, without a paying for a product key. Windows 10 is the same, although I haven't checked if MS still allows you to download it.

If you never pay for Windows, you will get the "Activate Windows" watermark in the bottom-right and you'll lose access to most of the personalization options under Settings > Personalization. This includes the ability to change your desktop wallpaper, switch between light and dark modes, disable transparency effects, choose an accent color, and even access some accessibility options like high-contrast themes.

Otherwise, Windows will still work and all of your programs will work until MS changes things.

1809 stopped being supported in 2020, IIRC.
